Prefer previous app in terms of single comics filling page and swiping left/right to see the next one as opposed to one long scroll up and down. Needs to save your place like the old app, too. I like darker theme, but the prior app was much better in almost every other conceivable way...feels more than a little like fixing what sure didn't seem broken.

Sucks having to pay for the app again as an old premium user. But there's an error with getting the discount about permissions. Oh and the app itself while seems pretty at first glance, is much of a downgrade. Comics are no longer grouped by month/year and its one long scroll list. I really don't see what was improved with this app and the old one didn't have a whole lot to begin with.
I don't have any social media apps other than two to speak to family and friends because I am fed up of the nonsense that people post. when I heard C&H made a app I was exited to see their comics and videos in one place and now I can share their videos and comics with my friends. I really do suggest you get this as it's hilarious content in one place and it's fun to pull out good comics when everyone is down.
love the app but latest update broke it. it keeps closing when I try to open. uninstalled and reinstalled no fix.
The app is a great concept, but it barely works when put Into practice. The videos cannot be watched on here at all, and whenever I used the random video feature while you could view the videos it would immediately stop playing as soon as I put the video in full screen or flipped the phone's orientation. The only thing that works without a hitch are the comics, and those are great. Videos are great too, it's just a shame that they can't be watched on the app as well.
I have them exactly where I want them. Loving the app. The only drawbacks (enough to lose a star) are: 1. I can't reverse the order of the comics. I'd love to start at the beggining again, but reading is top to bottom and I'm scrolling up, so it's a bit weird; and 2. the app doesn't save the spot where you stopped reading the comics. In other words, if I start at comic 1 and go up to 100 and close the app, when I open it again it opens in the latest comic, not the last you read.
Had the original app since release and felt it didn't needed changing. I do like the dark mode and access to shorts, but it's missing key features. Having access to months/years was incredibly fun to browse comics. And getting rid of the swipe feature for randomized comics is a misstep. I feel like the swipe is more user friendly than scrolling. 3/5.
Great jokes almost every day! There is also quite ingenious setting for times when you have a seizure. Highly recommended.
I had been thinking about deleting this app for a while, the newest round of pop up ads they've added sealed the deal for me. can't read 4 strips without getting a 15 second ad, and honestly this strip isn't good enough to justify that. Extra annoying considering I paid for the old app that this one replaced years ago
updated for modern spiff? you mean injecting ads into an app I paid for originally? that's disappointing. I get it, but still disappointed. Your update needs to restore purchases automatically.
