Been using Cycle AI: AI Chat & RolePlay for a couple months now. It’s basically an AI chatbot app where you can create and chat with different virtual characters. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you do: you can pick from a bunch of AI personas and have full conversations with them. There’s also interactive videos you can trigger that bring the characters to life. And you can even send them virtual gifts to deepen the relationship. Took me a while to figure all that out but it’s a cool feature.
Look, if you’re into chatting with AI friends and roleplaying, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrade system gets a bit grindy at higher levels – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.

The characters feel more alive than your typical chatbot, and the interactive videos are a nice touch. But it's not without its issues - the monetization can be a bit heavy-handed and the progression gets repetitive after a while. Still, if you're looking for an immersive AI companion experience, this is one of the better options out there.

does an okay job with memory but you really have to put everything at the start of the chat. no calling function and modifying the persona and backstory are linked...
Would be 4 stars if it had free unlimited messages. the interactions are amazing. There is a glitch where some messages never send. I don't want to have to pay...
