I’ve been using Cync (the new name of C by GE) for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you control all your smart home stuff – lights, plugs, cameras, and more. Pretty solid app if you’re into home automation and trying to make your place a little smarter.

Here’s what you can do: you can turn on/off your lights, set schedules, adjust brightness, and even control your smart plugs. There’s also a cool feature where you can take a pic of your device and it’ll show up in the app, makes it way easier to find what you need. And the new dark mode option is great for using it at night – way easier on the eyes.

Look, if you’ve got a bunch of smart home gear, you’ll probably get a lot of use out of Cync. It’s not perfect – the setup can be a little finicky at times – but overall it does the job of letting you control everything from one app. Worth checking out if you’re trying to make your place a little more high-tech.

So here's my honest take on Cync (the new name of C by GE). I've tested a bunch of home automation apps and this one's pretty solid overall. The personalization features are really nice - being able to add photos of your actual devices makes it a lot more intuitive to use. The dark mode is also a great addition, I find myself using the app more at night since it's easier on the eyes. On the downside, the setup process can be a bit of a pain, especially if you've got a lot of different smart home gadgets. And the app does feel a little buggy at times, with some connectivity issues. But overall, if you want one central place to control all your smart home stuff, Cync is worth checking out.
