This is the best yoga app I have ever tried and worth every penny if you choose to become a gold member. I tested it for a while now. I get usually bored easily with the same routine and this provides loads of options including levels, specific needs, length, time of day, goals,... The list is long and easy to organize with favorites and home page featured workouts. I will be renewing my subscription for sure!
Reviews for Daily Yoga ®: Yoga for Fitness
← Back to Daily Yoga ®: Yoga for FitnessSeems like every click there is an ad. The trick/ gimmick with every thing you click on has a count down. " Hurry fast before this great deal goes away." It's too aggressive and annoying. I get that tactic works on a lot of people. But for me it's off putting. I'll stick with YT or picture references. I honestly can't even tell you really what the app is about because of the ads that you couldn't even get past to even view the lesson.
Great instructions. Soothing voices and music. As you level up the workout instructions are faster paced, but I like it. It's more challenging. I've been using the free version for about 2 months now. I'm running out of free workouts, so I'm upgrading to Silver Pro. I think it'll definitely be worth it. Four stars because I can't do a free trial for the pro version, and it's pretty expensive especially for a student.
I downloaded Daily Yoga as a beginner, having never done yoga before. Daily Yoga has been fantastic! The app is easy to use and straight forward, with varying levels of difficulty and goals. Update: In the last couple years, the format has changed dramatically. Also, I had bought the pro and had full access, but with the change there were still further purchases needed to access everything. While I still enjoy this app, I don't mind it as easy to navigate now
I've been using this app for about 7 years now and the great variety of sessions and courses really keep me from getting bored, as has happened with other apps. The free version is OK but I am happy to recommend at least going for the silver pro membership, especially if you have some experience with yoga. I can't really afford in-person classes now, and love the deals on multiple years. One annoying thing, even after paying for one of the packages, they push more packages incessantly.
Loving it. I paid $29.99 for 1 year subscription for access to everything and it's definitely worth it. I started 5.5 weeks ago and try to use it a few times a week. I appreciate the different levels of skill/experience, and different programs/series. I like that there are literally videos for everything (strengthening, fat burning, yoga skill, flexibility, balance, relaxation, maternity, etc.) and in multiple types of movement practices (HIIT, relaxing, high energy).
I've been using Daily Yoga for a few years now and love it. I love that I can curate my own plan for something specific. There's guided and self-guided mediations and nature sounds/music. However, I dropped my review to 4 because I pay for a subscription and still get "upgrade" ads. It's annoying. Also, I went through all the settings and turned off all notifications from the app. I still receive notifications EVERYDAY. Had to turn off all notifications from the app via my phone settings.
Never have I been advertised one product and sold another. I was shown an exercise game, agreed to pay unlimited access to that game... then was shown... oh no.. you didn't pay for unlimited to what you saw.. you'll have to pay ANOTHER substantial amount for unlimited access to what we showed you in the first place. I haven't used the app AT ALL and reached out via email and and the developer refuses to help me and make it right be refunding my payment. Completely unethical.
This app kept popping up for me on various sites and was shown as a game but there was only 1 "game" option and it wasn't even the one advertised. Also, the one "game" they did have isn't even a game... All of this you don't see until you have already paid for a membership. Waste of money and time. Don't bother with it because you so can't get a refund.
5/5 for tech support. I was a little hasty signing up for a membership, but I was able to reach out to the support team, and they were extremely helpful in answering my questions. 5/5 app content. I am new to yoga, but it has been a great journey so far. they build a community and teach along the way. 4/5 My only problem I had was with knowing what the memberships were and what I could access with what. It could be labeled better. Regardless, it's a beautiful, well-done app, thank you!
Premium user for a couple months now (in-app time 967 minutes/44 days). So I like the programs overall. I use if mostly for daily meditation and yoga a couple times a week. But there are a few gripes. Deleting a program from your calendar is not intuitive at all. And even if you're a paid user you still get their annoying pop-ups to join premium & they email you about it which is unacceptable to me. I probably won't renew after my year because of it. The smart coach is just meh.
They really ruined a great app, I have a membership and yet I have ads. You get past the ad and then you have another pop up for an AI generated plan that I have no interest in following, then another pop up for challenges. By the time you make it to the session you want to do you're pissed off, great way to start your yoga session. It's a mess.
As a beginner, the yoga exercises themselves are pretty good and well paced, when I can find them. The app interface is horrible. It is not intuitive and it's difficult to pick up where I last left off. The interface feels more like a web page where you have to scroll through a bunch of stuff, including ads, and then maybe you'll hit on what you're looking for. I also didn't care for the near daily marketing emails I did not sign up for. I regret purchasing and cancelled my subscription.
2 stars because I actually think the app is super cool. However, I paid for Premium so that I wouldn't get ads, and they won't stop sending me an ad for more months of Premium service... (I paid for premium for a year and a half). I emailed customer service, and their fix was: "turn off you notifications" so, then I wouldn't get workout reminders; makes app a bit useless. Very annoying. Looking for another suitable app. App has potential, but it isn't there yet. It appears they are being greedy.
They've done their best to make the free version useless. Could be worth paying for, but I'm not providing payment info before I see how it works FIRST. Also, as far as I can tell from the tiny amount of free sessions, there's no Chromecast option. Seems like a fundamental feature. Watch on phone or watch on TV??? Seems like a no-brainer. That alone has me pretty confident that it wouldn't be worth the $$$ anyway
I like the one shown. It shows exercises ai can and lying flat, which I need due to injury. I downloaded, they want a ton of info and it seems geared for wait loss. I wanted range of motion. Nothing I could see looked like this. And you have to pay for it, without seeing any sample similar to the ad. I saw nothing on your back, like this, had the music, start with watm up and quick count. I didn't like what it looked like was really avsilable.
The app is great as far as the videos and workouts go. Its just that they put so many barriers to actually using the app that makes you feel like you don't want to use it. I don't mind paying for premium but I dont have it in my budget right now. I dont want to be bombarded with ads "encouraging" me to purchase the premium, I planned on doing it once i could afford it but now i think i might just stick to youtube.
I benefitted most from the Yoga Library. It shows how to do most moves. Also, it describes how to make a movement harder or easier. But not all the moves are there or are hard to find. The videos, however, were confusing and/or much too difficult. The app layout is confusing as well. This did help me further my interest in yoga. I use other resources for training. Maybe I'll use it again once I am more proficient.
I wanted to like this app, but it has a couple of problems. The cast function constantly has issues finding devices. and half of the time the audio becomes out of sync. The last one is the biggest issue. After subscribing it is constantly trying to get you to purchase more things like ebooks and more subscriptions to the app. I would recommend looking for a different app, the experience makes doing yoga frustrating.
I've only just started today. In the time I've been using the app I've had my problems. Specifically with understanding two of the three subscriptions. To leave an honest and accurate review, I'm subscribed for a year with both standard and master membership. Tutorials are well explained and relaxing. Although I'm not flexible enough for some poses, I do my best to get as close as possible. I did 2 exercises, and I'm feeling more relaxed.
