Description
Been using DaTuner: Tuner & Metronome for a couple months now. It’s basically a free tuning and metronome app that works with all kinds of instruments – guitar, bass, violin, ukulele, you name it. Pretty solid app if you’re into music and need to keep your gear in tune.
Here’s what you do: you just hold your phone up to the instrument and it’ll show you if you’re in tune or not. There’s also a built-in metronome which is pretty cool. And you can switch between different instrument settings – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.
Look, if you’re a musician who’s always tuning your stuff, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a little clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need a reliable tuner and metronome on your phone.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on DaTuner: Tuner & Metronome. I've tested a bunch of tuning apps and this one's pretty solid. The accuracy is on point and I like how it supports all different kinds of instruments. The interface could be a little smoother, but it gets the job done. Compared to some other free options, I'd say this one has a bit more functionality without being overly complicated. Not gonna lie though, the ads can get annoying if you don't pay. Overall though, it's a reliable tuner and metronome that works well.
