Received my new bank card upon my previous one being compromised, and now I can't add it at all even though it's the card tied to my bank account. Also, I don't like the fact that we can't withdraw the entire amount of the loan to have one fee, but you split it and add two fees to pay back. So a 150 loan gets split to 75 with a $5 fee, and then you're able to take the other 75 out but charge another $5 fee. It is absolutely ridiculous, which is why I use it for an emergency and nothing else.

The extra cash feature has crashed in the app. it's been that way for weeks now. I tried contacting customer service and they refused to admit there is something wrong with the app. I told them that the take advance button had disappeared and there was no way for me to get an advance even though the app was saying I had an advance available to take. Their only advice was to wait and try again. 2 weeks later it's still bugged. uninstalled and cancelled. worst customer service.

I want to 1st start off with the LiveAgent, she was great. Dealt w/me as best she could. HOWEVER. The moment any money hits your checking acct, DAVE WILL TAKE IT. Do NOT sign up for this app if you want to keep any amount of money in your account if you are EVEN ONE day past due. They do not care, they will not help. I needed that money for food, and within one hour, they stole it. I've already canceled this app. BUYER BEWARE. Do not use if you even remotely might be late on payments! 0/5

Lowered my rating. This used to be a great app. I had no issues getting the full $600 right after I settled & I always settled on time. Now I'm lucky if I'm offered $300 of "extra cash" after not spending any money for a few days. Took 2 weeks of not borrowing for them to offer the full $600 again. What's really frustrating is I'll check my amount and it'll say $500 but when I click on it, it switches to $150 extra cash. Fix this! Better yet, bring back the old method and ditch "extra cash."

The worst app I've ever used. I've been struggling to transfer my money out of this app for almost an hour because everything i try doesnt work. Im pretty much going to have to take an L with getting my money back. The amount of fees are absolutely ridiculous. Just save yourself the wasted money and use a real banking app like Cashapp or Current. neither charge fees and both pay early.

do not use this application, it's a scam. Go download cashapp or venmo, their loan system is more vetted, decent and doesn't change day to day on the amount you can loan. They don't also split your loan into multiple amounts so they can charge you higher "overdraft" fees as Dave calls it. Oh and they(other loan options) don't also have to monitor your main checking account all the time to tell you how much you can loan, to me that's the best part.... Dave is just collecting your data for resale.

The cash advances are good but not surveys. I've been doing the surveys but as soon as I get to the end it kicks me out and doesn't give me any of the rewards or half. I've cc messaged multiple times but nothing done. I don't even get partial amount. And it says no late fees but it won't give you another advance for almost 3 weeks. Like that's the penalty. I closed my account because I have to wait over a month to get help but still paying for services I can't use. use to be great but no more .

Used to be great, but suddenly it is not allowing me to log in anymore. It just gives a generic "can't log in at this time" This is after it down graded my extra cash from 500 per paycheck to 250 with no notice or explanation and my pay or job never changed. I wouldn't care about that if it wasn't for not being able to log in for weeks now. The "Help" is impossible to obtain. At this point there are far better apps out there. Try Money Lion instead. Maybe if Ai could get some customer service I

With the new update comes a new cash grab. Whatever the app says you're eligible for, you have to borrow one half at a time, with a day between them. doubling your fees. You are no more or less eligible in that overnight. it's literally only so they can connect more fees. There's 3 or 4 apps on an entirely better level than Dave now. 2nd star is because the app works.

Worst experience with an app. Repeated charges for an account I can't access or use. Repeated attempts to regain access to account or cancel through customer service has been excruciating. I've blocked the merchant through my bank, disputed charges, and sent cancelation requests and I've been charged for 6 months now. the account has been frozen due to investigation for a month at least, which means you can't access the app, but they have still been charging money tho.

They did offer a cash advance but then lowered it to eventually nothing when I was getting paid the same every week and paying the advance back early. You should be able to build up your advance and it not get less especially if you pay it back early. I was also paying for a membership just to be able to not get anything. Also they charge way too much interest it's a $5 minimum on top of what you have to pay back plus they charge a fee to withdraw it to your debit card.

I'll admit that at first this app was great and useful. I used it for years, but now they are a huge let down. I don't have access to my money/account due to the app glitching constantly. either I can't log in, or log in to a extra security screen that glitched and won't send the email. I've had this problem for almost a week and the help desk has yet to fix the problem for longer than one use. I'm very disappointed, don't download this app if you want consistent access to your account.

Dave was once a great app for me until the month they waited 3 months to tell me a payment was being sent back for whatever reason, then they took the same amount again before they sent back the original payment and I NEVER RECEIVED THE PAYMENT BACK , followed by a month where they took the membership fee twice ,to getting my tickets with questions and concerns not answered and closed. I've waited and been patient for months I don't know what's going on but it's ridiculous.

I thought the purpose of Dave is to help avoid bank overdraft fees. I did not have the funds in my bank account to settle my advance when you took it and it cost me $90 in overdraft fees. $30 for each transaction... $25, $1, 25¢. My pay came the next day. I have tried over and over to speak with someone about this, but the app has only chatbot for support. This has never happened before, until now Dave has been wonderful. Update, one month later. It happened AGAIN and no contact. $30 for $1.

Well, the sign up was easy enough. But READ THE SMALL PRINT!!! Even if you cancel and close, (it wasn't good nor was I even accepted so was a huge waste of time) they'll still charge you the money for a paid subscription. So it cost me $3.99 to get denied for a week straight. Predatory, would use competitors, they do you better.

Stopped using app because the due dates were not matching my pay dates. and when I got that sorted,kind of, they pulled funds at like 2 am,my check doesn't post til 6 am. it's ridiculous. and all I get from csr is they will not take it all at once if it's not available. However, it will completely drain your account to a $0 balance so that anything else causes an over draft. I have used other apps similar to this and have not had the issues, with lower fees and better customer service.

I gave 2 stars since I made use of the app. It does not seem worth it to me though. They say "no hidden fees", that's a lie. Not only do they charge you a monthly fee just for setting up the account but they charge you "overdraft service fees" & "express service fees" as well. They offer $50 but its in $25 increments so you're charged 2x for every fee! Oh & the monthly fee is charged even if you don't take the money they offer you!!

Was a good service until they changed their policies. Now you pay the membership fee and $10 to withdraw. They split your advance into 2, and each withdrawal fee is $5 each. So, if your advance was say $200 you can get $100 first, plus pay the $5 fee. Then you can get the other $100 and pay another $5 fee. This doesn't improve the customer's experience. It just fills the pockets of the app's investors with more money without any benefit to the user. Pure greed.

this app is terrible. I have had nothing but issues since I tried to sign up. After I put my phone number in it's sends a code and I put in exactly what the code is and it keeps saying it's wrong. Multiple times resending it. This same thing happen 2 years ago. I just can't get signed up for nothing. Support sends you the same emails requesting the same info: DL, paystub and all and still have issues. What is the problem.

They have much better support than they used to. BIG plus. My only real gripe with the app now is that I risked an overdraft at my bank when the advance settlement occurred. My check doesn't hit my account until 8 am. Dave starts trying to settle at the stroke of midnight. There's no way to change the time or schedule a time for the settlement to occur. Hopefully they fix that, too. Then I can feel secure in using all of its features more often. Don't tip. It doesn't go to hungry ppl
