I've been coming to the Boston Fenway branch since it opened and it's honestly been the best. I either order through the app or go there and get excellent service from Felipe.

Takes too long for the Welcome logo screen to drop and actually choose a restaurant. Then for you to drive to the store and order at the counter.
updated review - love the store need the app updated so I can use it with my local restaurant. once that happens you'll get a 5 - they emailed me within 24hrs and had our store added!
Point redemption is timed coupon for only 1hr I redeemed a free meal and tried ordering over app. It wouldn't let me redeem. By the time I made it too the store the coupon expired and I couldn't use my rewards.
complete garbage app. can't sign up online. can't sign up through the app. gives me an error no matter what. I do. Not even going to bother ordering food through this company because it's such a hassle.
App doesn't tell you when points will expire, and there's an issue with redeeming any rewards every time I try.
the app is incredibly slow, won't maintain login, has an awful reset method, uses different domains for each function making linking in a password manager incredibly difficult, sends orders to the wrong store and is generally unusable. Really just gives off 2007 3gs web app experience
Horrible adds a 15% Tip! Chicken definitely priced high enough Dave should be able to pay his employees! And regardless of price, the idea I put together the order myself, process the payment, and then stand in line to get my bag of food; does not rate a Tip.
Garbage. Wouldn't let me create an account. Wanted to order ahead and get rewards and the free drink but their online account system kept saying there was an error when there wasn't one. Guess I'll do KFC instead
App won't allow me to use use it at all. tried placing an order for pickup and it doesnt even show my store or say that there's one near me. its right down the street from me. literally about a mile if that. you people need to update your app and make things right. know where I won't be going for lunch or dinner anytime soon.
this app is absolutely horrendous for 1 reason and if it was fixed it would be perfectly fine. the rewards tab at the bottom is used ONLY for in store redemption and NOT for online orders and I have now wasted 600 points on 2 separate occasions for that not being clear. the way to redeem rewards for online orders is when you're in the cart. terrible and shameful design
Never left a review before, but my god its terrible. I downloaded the app after not being able to place an order on the website cause my combo "was not" over the 3 dollar minimum, but the app is worse. I cant select a later time, as the options dont show up, and when it try with the ASAP option and click submit, it does nothing! I can't even place an order. Installed and uninstalled after 5 minutes of trying. I wish i could give it a 0 star.
I LOVE Dave's Hot Chicken! I think the prices are beyond reasonable for what you receive... especially with how high fast food costs are getting. Others try to extend their menu options, but Dave's got it right... sell what they have MASTERED, and all you need on the menu is that unique item served different ways! Haven't had a bad experience yet. #1
I love Dave's Hot Chicken, but all of a sudden the rewards system completely broke. Before today, I never had any issues, but now I am unable to use the Gold reward on Dave's #1 meal specifically. if I wanted to use it on any other meal, it works, but not on the tenders. Bizarre. Edit: They have completely removed the ability to use reward points in the app. I guess they want more people waiting in the already long lines..
I've been obsessed with Dave's Hot Chicken for like a month. We got a flyer in the mail for a free slider if you download the app. Awesome! Downloaded, ordered, picked it up, but no free slider. I was told you have to order IN STORE for the free slider. Got home and checked the flyer, says the same thing on tiny print at the bottom. Then why download the app!?!?!? I spent extra money expecting a slider to be free when I could have gotten a combo.
The app logged me out of my account, and now won't let me log back in. I reset my password word (after like 5 tries) and the app will not except the new password. No matter what I do it just keeps telling me my credentials are incorrect even though I know for a fact they are not. I'd just order as a guest and skip the reward points at this point but the app won't even allow you to do that. You MUST be logged in inorder to place an order. This needs to be fixed.
If you have an online ordering platform and also sell gift cards to patrons. I will never understand how a restaurant can sell a gift card to somebody but not allow a person to use it to pay for their order on your app. Even subway from the stone ages has a better app platform lol (even though you can't finish a gift card off and cover the difference, it's all on one or the other). Now I have to go in to order, wait, and jump through hoops to get my points for the order. Garbage!
app has become impossible to log into, it asks to send a special code to your email or text. despite your choice it sends it to both but neither works. it takes over a minute for it to send the code and for it to check if the code is correct, but always fails. it's obvious they don't want us eating there. so I wont. I was a frequent customer but this is ridiculous, I'll just not eat there for the next 6 months and then maybe I'll try again. if the app still doesn't work I won't try again.
Update: I somehow got my points for the number on my receipt. New store in my area, so I decided to check it out. Unfortunately, the app won't let me order from the new store yet, and I can't scan my barcode for rewards either! Some error about not being near a store. Five stars when I'm able to order online and have food ready for me when I get there... :-)
