App used to be good and really easy to use. Now, when I log in, it takes me to a web page to do everything. I can't switch between my two schedules, it is just stuck on one. The sync to calendar feature is so messed up that it will either not update with new shifts, or it will place 2-4 identical shifts on my calendar for every single shift! And when I try to delete the extra ones, it deletes all of them. And this is all barely scratching the surface of issues. The old version was way better!

It shuts down randomly, won't recognize my password sometimes, freezes, etc. For an app big companies use, it could be a lot better than it is.
I like this app. Helps me keep track of hours and see my pay and it's estimated before pay day. The one thing that's bugging me is it won't keep anything I put in my quick select bar saved. I have to keep putting it up there just to clock in or out of work. Computer log in, no problems. App log in, couple problems but over all a great app to use
Worst workforce app available, our company just started using this app, and none of us like it. It's not easy to use and if you get the dayforce wallet your forced to get their card to get paid early, definitely don't recommend using or switching to this app... If you have something that works don't change it also misses clock ins and outs, had to adjust clock times many times already. Emailed customer service a few questions about the app and never received a response. Poor customer service.
Updates are supposed to make the app better not worse. Seems like with each new version, something stops working. This time, the log in mechanic is the primary issue. The fact that you can't log in when the box to remember the password is selected is infuriating, and the lack of biometric scan as an option to log in is ridiculous and inconvenient.
This App is the most unreliable I have ever used! This has been going on for over a year now. At this point half of the staff is unable to log in at all to see their schedules, pay information...nothing! The reset password option does not work!!!Our Manager has been reporting the issue to our company IT Dept. but it seems that there's nothing they can do about it if YOU ARE UNABLE TO FIX YOUR OWN APP!!! (I gave one star because I had to in order to leave my review. 0 stars was not an option.)
I downloaded/installed app my first day in training. Subsequently, on my 2nd day of training, I needed assistance because it stated it was not able to open on my mobile phone. So I couldn't punch in on time, was shown on a computer incorrectly by an associate, had to write a slip for my hours. Reggie had me uninstall & reinstall, then it worked. For someone like myself who is computer challenged & system has "quirks", it's frustrating. Thank you.
As a manager, it is no longer allowing me to access timesheets within the app. It comes up with an error stating, "Your criteria is no longer valid. Please update your filter selection." Additionally, my quick access tabs at the bottom of the app routinely change. Even though I go in and customize them as I want them to be. They constantly change to where forms is at the top of the list even after I move it down. I have an android device, I-phones not affected by timesheets issue
Doesn't work. New update made the app practically unusable. It constantly logs you out and gives an error saying "There was an issue preventing you from signing on". Also, you can only access the messages section half the time. I've had to use the browser version (which is not very mobile friendly) multiple times just to see my schedule or message my coworkers.
I am changing my review from 5 to 1 due to the new update. Before the update, the app worked great. Easy to access and synced perfectly with my phone calender. The new update not only made it impossible to sync my calendars, despite the claims it still can, I can't log in half the time, which has made it difficult to keep track of when I need to work, and the app no longer lets me know if my shifts have changed.
New update makes it impossible to request time off from both the app and the PC version, no idea why they decided to do this. On the app I keep getting the same error message no matter the time of day and on PC it just keep trying to load the page to no avail. Keep in mind I tried this on multiple PCs and it's still broken. Also, this company loves to push out updates precisely at 11PM PST and when they do the app becomes unusable for hours! Wow! (Obvious sarcasm)
App goes down a lot and isn't usable. There will be no option to login in or do anything, just the Dayforce logo on an otherwise blank screen. App frequently logs you out and makes you re-enter or change your password. Othertimes, it won't log you in because the backend is down. On android, the app won't work if you don't have a browser (chrome) enabled on your device. Overall, terrible app. I wouldn't use it if I wasn't required to for my work.
The calendar won't sync correctly with my local calendar and it won't sync at all with my google calendar on my computer. Also I can't adjust the way my shifts are displayed. I also cannot see who I'm working with on the app, It only works online. I hope there are updates coming soon. I'm reiterating this review... something is wrong with the app again
typically I like this app, but ever since it made small changes to its UI (don't think it's necessarily related, just happened in same patch I guess; thankfully the UI update is not ugly), for some reason the autosync calendar function just isn't working? really odd and makes my life harder for sure... Galaxy S23 Ultra is my device. please fix soon. biometrics login not an issue nor do I dislike it, but wondering if it's related.
It often has issues with sign in, which is ignoring and inefficient Update: The app keeps asking me to sign in every single time I open the app for the few pastdays. I did not experience this before. There is no contact us option on the app for me to contact and how to fix this issue. It is inconvenient to type in password every single time.
The main reason I have the app is to sync my work schedule as everything else can also be managed through a browser. But the Google calendar is horrible. It works sometimes, but most of the time it either doesn't sync (like now) or it sinks partially, or it creates multiple duplicates of events. The app is just a waste of storage space until they figure out how to make it properly function.
The persistent glitch hasn't been resolved despite the latest update. When submitting acceptance of a roster, an error message is thrown. Often, but not always, the acceptance is received on the manager's end, but is never resolved on the employee's end. Rosters cannot be seen a week at a time, either, only day by day. Syncing with Google calendar rarely works, also. If it wasn't made mandatory by the company, I wouldn't use it. It's just too glitchy and problematic.
It is a terrible application that is forced onto employees. It has tons of broken features that the software company in charge has no clue how to fix or is not inclined on fixing. Best way to explain it: It is what happens when you buy an app for time cards off Temu! There is no support for this trashy app. even in the web version. Companies will lose good employees for this. You are going to have to have a back up plan when this is down. It is down ALL THE TIME! At least 4 full days per week.
Notifications haven't been sent for well over a month now. I've tried logging out then back in, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, cleared the cache, & nothing changed. All of my phone settings allow Dayforce to send notifications, and my settings within the app are supposed to send them too. Yet nothing! Often I've missed my schedule releasing & have to manually check to see if anything has changed. This app SEVERELY needs an update to fix this major issue.
I've had few issues but my co-workers all have had problems with logins. There are times when their login credentials aren't accepted. Should they attempt to change their password, still can't do that either. Luckily our manager has more permissions and can repair the problem, but he is 50 miles away, and not always available. App is just not that user friendly.
