Reviews for Daylio Journal - Mood Tracker

← Back to Daylio Journal - Mood Tracker

I transfered my data from another app to this. my images are gone, I expected that, what I didn't expect are some entries too. but that's fine. until now I'm quite happy with the app itself. good tracking. memories are very nice too. I would just love to see in the memories the activities I did.

Wonderful app! The ability to add your own tracking variables, e.g. menstruation, additional moods, productivity variables, health goals etc makes it so much more useful than other apps. The paid version can show you associations between your mood and these variables, and 3 month graphs etc. Unfortunately it's unclear where euthymic mood is and where is it above or below the normal variation, which limits professional interpretation when tracking mood disorders.

so far this app is pretty impressive. I just love the user interface. it's so unique and beautiful. It motivates me to track myself in an area that I lack in, emotional awareness. I'm grateful I found this app! although I will say I'm tired of all the apps having you subscribe! granted this one isn't too expensive. I think they're giving me a deal which is why it's like $11.88 a year but still there should be a one and done payment for these kind of apps!

The best journaling and mood tracking app there is! I've been using it every single day since 2017. It can be as simple as choosing your mood and that's it, or as detailed as adding activities, photos, and a journal entry. It's very helpful for looking at patterns in mood changes and logging experiences.

the lifetime unlock never has a sale. the app functions well and has some neat features but I found myself not using the app as much over time due to being locked out of certain functions. I don't want to pay a subscription so it is what it is. if you want a very simple daily journal experience this app works well on that front. if you want anything more you'll have to consider the paid options. I opted to uninstall.

I absolutely love how customizable the icons, activities, and moods are. I have chronic illnesses and also find this to be a better symptom tracker than other apps that were made more specifically for that purpose. I've also used it for years to journal which has long been an essential part of managing my anxiety. The only thing I'd change is I am often up after midnight and would like a way to still display the correct time but count it as being the prior day

Been using the diary, activity, and mood tracking features every day for about 9yrs now and it's helped so much in terms of remember things and how I felt at those times. Went premium about 1yr in and the added features over time have been nice, though I admittedly don't use them really. That said, I've never had a single issue with it at all on any phone I've had. Truly one of the essential apps I will always have.

I love this app! I have Bipolar 2 & it really helps me track my moods & triggers. Ive been using it since 2022. Mostly everything is free, which is a BIG factor for me. There's small things to purchase but doesnt limit you in any way. The stats are amazing and so so helpful. You can customize everything so it is all tailored to you. You can back up your info and search old entries really easily. They have yearly reports and the visual stats are so helpful.

Great App! I'm just starting but I have a feeling I will be doing it a lot more often. It would be great if they had a journal journey that came with something to ponder deeply about and then speak from the heart. Capturing soul moments like this used to be my favorite daily task. With Daylio It will be again. Give it a try, the free version will blow your journal taking socks off.

I love this app so much, no other tracking app is anywhere near as good as this one. One thing I would love is for pop-ups of more categories to pop up only if you click a certain thing. (Example make an "ate breakfast" activity and be able to have it then pop up a new category to specify what food for something)

This app has been very helpful in tracking my mood and the various factors that affect my mood, and finding patterns and triggers. I like that I can add as many things to track as I want and there are lots of emojis to choose from. Having this data helps me more with my psychiatrist appointments. I wish there was something similar I could use to track chronic pain with a pain scale. I use another app but it doesn't give weekly or monthly reports and I find those in daylio helpful.

Love this app. I have an idea that could make it even better. This feature exists on other apps like Signal Messenger and most web browsers (done automatically in the browser's incognito mode). It's to have the option to request an incognito or private mode on the keyboard. It would be good to have as little unwanted data collection as possible on our most sensitive thoughts.

This is an amazing app! I love that you can document your day from the past as well. I think an awesome thing would be like a custom color thing so you can choose the colors and a random color thing so every day it's a new color scheme! That would be awesome. Edit: back to using this app after some time and they introduced the option to change colors!! I think it is so cool :D of course, still 5 stars from me 💕

I have been using the paid version of this app for over 2 years. I used the free for about a year before that. I love how you can add custom categories and activities. I also love the memories that pop up and show you what you were doing years ago and what has changed. Adding my daylio journal with my pictures every night is part of my evening routine and brings me a lot of peace. There are also reports it runs for you and allows you to see correlations between your activities! Love Love!!

I enjoy and love having this app on my phone. It's very convenient on the go when you want to record what activities you've done, thoughts you had, things you're going to do, etc. I also like being able to customize lists or categories. I've used this app mostly to record my life journey and you can go back and download/print/ share. Thanks a bunch!

I've never been good at keeping a journal, but with the daily reminders on my phone from Daylio, I'm over 100 days of logging! The format is customizable and simple to complete each day. I haven't done much looking back at the entries, but I expect those times will come to either jog my memory or provide timing of historical events. We'll see where it goes!

I started using Daylio eight years ago or so, kept up with it for a few years and then lost track. I recently picked it back up and the newer interface feels easier to work with and manage more complexity in my day and tracking. I appreciate the thoughtfulness in this app to tracking as well as the way the moods can be interconnected and grouped to facilitate better analysis. It feels accessible and non intrusive so I can still log while I'm feeling low energy.

I love it. I've been keeping track of everything in here on a spreadsheet for the past 5 years, and no idea about this app until a month ago and it's great. Though one big thing I would like to see changed is to have the ability to change when your day starts. For instance, if I log an entry at 2am, I want it to still count towards the previous day. I think for most people anything before 4 am is like the previous day. I would just like the option, but otherwise, this app is awesome!

Great! I've used it for a while and probably one of the longest been on a dairy app. wish it had a website version and transcription, but super incredible service. Easy to see snap shots of my mood and feelings and see what affects me. (4/8/23) Update: adding that I've stuck with this and it's made Journaling so easy. Best app and so simple for my needs. Just wish had PC compatibility, but I do know some work around.

Daylios has been an incredible app! I've used it since 2018. However, today I encountered an error where it will not let me add any more entries, and since this morning it has become worse - now the app crashes upon opening. I have restarted the app, cleared my cache, cleared all app data, reinstalled, everything. Nothing works. Edit: my bad. I was using the "greater than" and "less than" symbols in an attempted entry, causing the app to read parts of my written entry as data.
