Reviews for DC UNIVERSE INFINITE

Really like the basis of this, but I have a few things that I'd love to see supported - Please allow us the option to cast the video to any TV because mine isn't supported. - Have a family option or something so I can give my siblings an account to stay under but they can view shows, movies, comics etc on their own profile, and so there can be parental control and ratings. - Every Episode, Comic, and Movie should have a synopsis. It's a lot to ask for but so worth it. - Add more comics!

This app is great, it has potential. However, sometimes it takes too long to load. I hate I have to download comics to read them. Also, the chromecast capability isnt always available. I test hulu and Netflix to make sure it's not my connection, and each time it shows up, just not for DC. It is very frustrating. Please make it stable.

When you find the comic you're looking for it's great. But that happens about 30% of the time. The search feature is terrible, if you type in the comic book number it won't come up, then you try the title won't find it but if you scroll through every comic written since 1940 there it is. At this point I'm not sure if some of the comics I searched for just aren't on the app or I didn't figure out the right combination of letters and numbers to get them to show up.If they fix the search I'll reup

decided to try this for the free Batman stuff today, and it will not stream to the chromecast, it starts to but then once you press play it just spins. I'm unsubscribing instantly, not worth it, and many others are complaining about it too. and if you're having trouble canceling just go through the play store to your subscriptions and cancel there, it worked perfectly from there.

I do enjoy the app on my phone and the rating above is for that, but the fact that you make me pay through my Google account is not normal and I don't like that. The fact that it is only on mobile devices is laughable. I saw someone say the same and you asked what we would like it to be on. Everything. PS4, Xbox, Nintendo, Amazon, whatever. It is baffling I have to have a chromecast (luckily I had one) to play it on a TV. Going to cancel soon because of that. Not willing to pay so much for this

Constant playback error. Videos will play for 10-30 seconds and then video freezes, while audio continues. This requires me to back out and start again. Movies are unwatchable due to this. With TV shows I can download the episode to watch but movies are not available for download. Once I finish Young Justice I will be canceling my subscription unless they fix the streaming.

App works well but the subscription tiers are unbearable. I cannot afford the upfront price for the Ultra level. But the Ulltra price equates to about 9.99/month, yet they don't offer it at a monthly price. That would make so much sense and be so much more accessible. Also 6 months is such a long time to wait for access to new releases on the current monthly level. I wish I could purchase individual issues at least.

I tried to like this app, I wanted to like this app. I used different devices, I tried watching with or without wifi incase it was my wifi's fault the videos kept lagging, I even downloaded episodes and it still lagged. I wish this would have worked out but i'm not going to pay money for something I can only watch for two minutes at a time before having the exit out and then click to watch again and again. Just not good at all.

2025 Update: the app keeps getting a little worse. Whenever I download a comic, the app freezes and crashes. Used to be able to download dozens of comics and carry on with the app. No issues whatsoever. Also, for years the "My DC" tab takes forever to load just so I can see my saved/bookmarked content. And one more thing while I'm here, the comic organization could be better. You have to start at Batman #1 and scroll hundreds of issues into the 2000s. Should have feature to sort by year/issues

I love this. Easily my favorite app out there. Most negative reviews are there is no app for PS4 etc. Get a Roku for $30 and you are set. ps4 etc need to create the app. They have the info and they aren't doing it. Get Roku period. They have 5 times the content. Never had a streaming issue either. Plays smooth and love it. Watch on TV, Phone, Tablet etc. Plus they just added a lot more comics

No warning before joining at the beginning of December. Paid for a month and then less than a week later, all of the TV shows and movies are gone. Just get comixology if you want to read comics. All of the shows on here went to HBO Max. Also, the xbox app has no way to access your favorites and the search options are horrible. You have to know exactly what you're looking for, because the 5 sections they offer you to browse through are almost all the same in all 5 sections...

Extremely disappointing. Lacks any kind of catalog depth, and most comic titles will just stop party through a story arc. Subtitles on video content are atrocious. When I wrote in with feedback, and to request a termination (I was a pre order customer), had the worst customer service experience I've ever seen. At best, give it at least a year to see if they can get their act together. At worst, there's so much broken trust, you may be better off avoiding it altogether.

So far so good, I bought the year subscription. I will give it more stars when the library of movies and shows gets bigger. I am disappointed at the lack of animated movies, hopefully it increases over time and not the monthly fee. Comic selection is sparse but October we will see more. If they start adding stuff and then increasing the bill or extra pay I will prob cancel service after the year is up. Also I have it on Roku and there is no encyclopedia section like advertised, its only on the mobile app.

It looks really cool and it does have a lot of my favorite shows, movies, and comics. However almost everything needs a membership, which means that I cant watch what I downloaded this app to watch. I dont discriminate against memberships, its pretty sensible. But at least bring down the cost! I am not going to pay 74.something +Tax for cheap tv shows and movies i can get on the internet.

I really want to like app, especially because it has good content in it and it has good features, such as downloads for offline viewing. However, the restrictions and bugs made me give up on my subscription. The restriction of finishing a video within 48 hours of starting it is ridiculous; I sometimes start an episode on Friday afternoon after work, and by Monday morning on the way to work, that offline download has already passed the 48-hour mark and is no longer available.

I was really looking forward to this service. My only complaint right now is accessibility. I can only use it on my phone. I want to be able to watch on my TV through either xbox, playstation or the Amazon fire TV stick/box. Also, the comic series are limited. Most stores only have 1 issue, I'd like to be able to read a whole series. When that is made available I would rate 5 stars.

Like the service, but playback of what is available, is choppy at best. Video freezes randomly and it isn't my connection. I pause and try to come back and either the movie won't start playing or I have to start from the beginning. And there is no resume from where you left off if you have to turn it off and start again later. New update is no better. The loading buffering is intolerable. What did I pay in advance for? I expected growing pains, but this is horrible.

The comic books themselves and the comic book reader are great. I love the stories and being able to glide from panel to panel. That said, the overall application interface and features are lacking. Especially, at the annual price point, which is higher than Marvels by a lot. At bare minimum you should be able to remove "Dive Back Into" comics from your list. Additionally, it displays reading progress on comics I have never opened, which is a bug. Copy Marvel's superior app! This isn't hard.

I was super excited for this app as I love DC. After having it for a month, I found out how bare bones it is. The movie selection and tv shows are very limited and you burn through the selection very quickly. The comic selection is also lacking. If it's a monthly subscription I would hope I could read new comics that come out, but they dont add hardly any of them. Comics, TV shows and movies are rotated out which doesn't make any sense to me since it's their media on their app with their brand. I'd say to wait until they've added more.

I've enjoyed the selection of comics I get, but they need to make some series improvements to the Android app. Long loading times, frequent crashes, a bug where comics I've never read are marked as in-progress or completed, and a lot of the time entire pages will be blacked out entirely on comics I'm reading! I've encountered this last error on multiple series, but on one issue, there were about five entire pages missing from the 23-page issue! It's honestly just super annoying.
