Have been a paid user for a while, heavily considering finding a new app. The connections to sync my account transactions and etc is always broken, which is quite frustrating half the use of this app is to track my portfolio, how can I do that if connections are constantly broken and sync rarely works
Updating my review. The desktop and web version will not import data from the mobile app. If you set up info. On stocks that you already have to track progress it will be lost unless your portfolio was purchased through delta. Useful tool for new people and I like the app, but if i can't move between mobile and desktop it won't work for me. My phone does not show up as a device on the web app or desktop app. CS was contacted and issue marked Resolved with no assistance.
Has many unpopular crypto coins so you can see a chart of their history. Problem trying to organize coins in watchlist bc you have to hold each a certain length of time instead of clicking an edit button. So it's easy to accidentally move around coins or delete them while at the same time it's hard to intentionally move them or delete them for the same reason.
Pretty good for use as a personal crypto ledger. My main gripe is the lack of support for lesser known and newer coins as well as for the lack of being able to import any coin data through searching for its address like most other apps. On the other hand, I do appreciate that the app remains ad free, and hope it stays that way.
I don't really want all my crypto connections in one place, so I kind of ignore that aspect. I mainly use the app to visualize the value of my reserve-held metals and those I have in my own custody, split into two portfolios. For that, the app is 😙🤌 Love that they track base metals & other commodities. It'd be great to see wine/spirit tracking too. Even just adding manual commodities would enable so many more ways for the app to be used, and help users consolidate their investment indexes.
Pretty great app with many features for tracking your investments. One area that could improve is tracking for transferring money from one portfolio to the next. Currently it's a bit buggy and the calculations don't make sense. As a result, it makes things in the sending portfolio look like huge losses, and things in the receiving portfolio look like insane (thousand to infinite%) gains. Also, it would be really cool if there were a desktop app in the future as phone keyboards are terrible.
Great app for keeping track of cost basis. There are a lot of pro things you have to pay for but most people don't need it, espe ially for $50+ a year. This app gives a TON of notifications about price movements. I limited it to an end of day portfolio notification and significant price changed but still got notifications about 2% changes. Had to turn notifications off completely because they still came.
I tried syncing transactions from two exchanges and the data imported was not even close to accurate. Maybe it's due to the fact I'm a fairly active trader and have transferred across exchanges many times. Maybe it works for hodlers but it's pretty worthless for traders. I then deleted everything and tried adding transactions manually. I was only two transactions into that before I noticed the math was again wrong. I gave up. But at least it's pretty. I think that's most important to Delta.
I'd give it a five stars. The portfolio tracker made the job really easy to track my crypto investments and making decisions about trades. The interface has improved a lot and love it. The support is definitely five stars. When I switched my phone from iPhone to Android, I lost all my data. Its my mistake I forgot to backup Delta app data, and support was kind and professional enough to dig thru and helped me get my data back to new phone.
Can you please stop changing the way we view prices on our portfolio? So irritating. When I click "All" I want to see %up or down based on my purchase price and current value. You also deleted the "total cost" of the coin based on purchase price and total # of coins. Inconsistency makes me look elsewhere.
