So here's my take on Dev Tools Pro(Developer Tools). I've tested a bunch of developer tool apps and this one's pretty solid. And the layout inspector and decompiler tools work well, and I like that it's got a bunch of other useful features all in one place. It's not gonna replace specialized tools, but it's a great all-in-one solution. Only downside is that some features can be a bit glitchy at times, but the dev seems to update it regularly.

Pros

  • Tons of useful tools for Android devs in one app
  • Decompile apps, view layouts, check hardware info - really handy
  • Free to use, don't need to pay for the good stuff
  • Gets regular updates with new features

Cons

  • Some tools can be buggy or unreliable at times
  • Might not replace specialized dev apps for advanced users
  • Steep learning curve if you're new to this stuff

Description

Been using Dev Tools Pro(Developer Tools) for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that’s got a ton of tools for Android developers. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you can do: you can decompile other apps to see their code, view layout details and colors, check out the latest open source projects, debug your own apps, and more. There’s also a handy manifest viewer – that’s come in clutch a few times. And the hardware/software info is pretty useful too.

Look, if you’re an Android dev, you’ll probably find this app really helpful. It’s not perfect – some of the features can be a bit buggy sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need a one-stop shop for all your dev tools.
