So here's my take on the Dexcom G7 app. I've tested a bunch of glucose monitoring apps and this one's one of the better ones. The real-time data and alerts are super helpful for staying on top of your blood sugar, and being able to share it with your loved ones and care team is a game-changer. It's not the most user-friendly app out there, but once you get the hang of it, it works really well. Definitely recommend it if you need a CGM system.

Description

Been using the Dexcom G7 app for a couple months now. It’s basically a continuous glucose monitoring system that lets you track your blood sugar levels without having to do annoying fingerstick tests. Pretty solid app if you’ve got diabetes and need to stay on top of your glucose.

Here’s what you can do with it: the app pulls data from the Dexcom G7 sensor and shows you your current glucose number, as well as where it’s been trending. There’s also customizable alerts that’ll warn you if your levels get too high or low. And you can share your data with family members or your doctor, which is super convenient.

Look, if you’ve got diabetes and you’re looking for a better way to manage it, the Dexcom G7 is worth checking out. It’s not perfect – the sensor can be a pain to keep track of and the app has a bit of a learning curve. But overall it does a really good job of giving you the info you need to stay healthy.

It turns Do Not Disturb on after an alert, without you knowing it, so you may some very important calls. I reported this issue and was told to report it....
