Been using Ding Call:Unlimited WiFi Calls for a couple months now. It’s basically a free VoIP app that lets you make calls to any real phone number without using up your minutes or racking up international charges. Pretty solid if you’re always on the go and need to stay in touch with people around the world.
Here’s what you do: You can make calls through the app using your WiFi connection. And there’s also a feature to get a private call number for each conversation, which is pretty cool. And you can switch between your real caller ID and the private number – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.
Look, if you travel a lot or just need to make lots of global calls, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the ads can be annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
