This is probably one of the worst apps I have ever used. It's always "an unexpected error has occurred" right before my insurance is due. how convenient. Not to mention i've had this insurance ever since I was 18 and I am now 28. it just jumped up 50 dollars in a matter of a month with no changes. Not pleased with this insurance company to say the least

This app doesn't work. It won't let me create 2-factor authentication login or whatever. the website doesn't work at all either. the stupid phone number has a bot for basics but hangs up upon request to speak to someone. I can't read what was changed on my policy. I can't send paperwork. the customer service email does not receive emails. I will find a way to sue this stupid company; it's a freaking SCAM.

This app sucks... Tried over 15 times to login and keep getting an error message... I can't access anything online either because the same error message... Smh As much as we pay for ins, you'd think you'd be able to easily access important documents when needed... Garbage ins and Garbage app... Wish there was a way to give negative stars because that's what describes this service

Before, when I went to the app to pay my monthly bill on my phone, it was working fine. Then suddenly, it said that I had to install the updated version. As soon as I did, it stopped accepting my credentials to sign in. Now, it's a neverending loop to renew my username and password, but it is still not allowing me to sign in!! It's very frustrating...

Last month, I didn't have any problem getting access to my account now. Even with my correct information, I can't access it. I updated the app to the last version and am still not getting access. Also, I tried going to the website and can't get access either. When I finally could access and try to make a payment, an "YOUR PAYMENT CAN'T BE PROCESSED DUE TO INSUFFICIENT FOUNDS" text appears.

Well, I went to pay my bill this month, and it tells me my insurance company is now Direct Auto, and I need to make an account on their site to pay my new bill. Well, the site hasn't been functioning all day, so I downloaded this app. Thankfully, I could make account, and pay my bill. The functionality is severely lacking. The UI is not user friendly, and makes it hard to find the little information the app provides. The biometric login gives an error message. The digital ID card is greyed out.

App doesn't work. First biometrics would come up and crash it. It would not allow me to log in any other way. Biometrics or not at all. Now today, trying open it shuts it down. It simply doesn't work at all. I had to go on line to the website to confirm my payment was made last week. The app sucks! I was told to update my app to the latest version. I am on the latest version. Error! Error! Error! Now I need my account information which I do not have with me, to create a new password. I quit!

This is the worst app I have ever tried to use! You can't find the help or information you need when you go to look for it and when you do find it the app kicks you out and you have to start all over. The website is no better. There is no after hours help like that can actually help with anything significant and I can almost never get a hold of anyone to help when I try during normal business hours. Definitely 0 out of 5 star rating from me.

I can never load into the app. I just end up using the website to pay my bill. what's the point of having an app that never loads? It just makes paying the bill less convenient.. this is not a new issue as it has been ongoing for months now. just an aside it really sucks when you have a cop asking for proof of Insurance and you can't retrieve your insurance card. now you get a fix it ticket that requires a trip to the tax collector and an unnecessary expense.

I've tried downloading the app and sign into my account and it abruptly shuts down after asking if I want to use biometric sign in. I've done this 3 times. Installing, uninstalling, reset my phone, nothing. Every time it locks up on the biometric question screen then shuts down. Not even going to bother with it anymore. I'll just call to make my payments like I have already been doing. App is not changing anything or making it more convenient.

This app never works correctly. What's the point in having a app to make things easier when you still have to call the actual insurance company. Makes absolutely no sense. Every time I try to log in it says my credentials are wrong and I know they are not. Then when I reset my password it tells me to many logins attempts but there wasn't. Let alone had to create a whole new sign in account just to access my stuff.

The last update has absolutely bricked the app! It wasn't a great app to begin with, but it is completely non-functional now. Biometrics don't work anymore, nor will it let you log in with username or password. Even when you type the correct information, it says the information is incorrect. From viewing other comments, it appears Direct Auto has done this intentionally so people can't pay their bill on time and incur late fees. I will most definitely be shopping around for different insurance.

Always changing things for the worse and charging more and more for no reason. They make it nearly impossible to do anything in the app. The FAQ is a joke. No search feature, can't even get actual cards mailed even though on the digital copy it says "Keep this in your vehicle..." as soon as this policy is up I'm switching. There's so many other cheaper, better, and less deceptive companies to choose from.

The application never works, despite frequent updates. I've had to reset my account three times and still can't get in without calling someone. The website would be my main way, anyway, but I've never once seen it running. Usually, it crashes on the log in screen I set up automatic payments so that it wouldn't matter, but they stopped them for no reason, then charged me for missing a payment and won't let me access my account to fix it so that my coverage doesn't lapse. Pay more and go elsewhere

This app sucks! The only way to contact anyone is by a single phone number that you can't even get a hold of anyone on most of the time. So if you can't reach anyone with that phone number what the hell are you supposed to do??? Right now it's not working because they are apparently having technical difficulties, that's all the thing says, it rings a couple times and then an automated voice says "We're sorry, we're having technical difficulties right now, please call back later'then it hangs up!

Makes paying insurance fast and easy. However, for some reason today (May 21, 25) I'm getting repeated things in my notification bar from the app telling me I have a payment due today. I already paid this months payment a couple weeks ago. When I open the app, it even shows next due bill in 30 days. But every time I check my phone, there's a new thing in my notification bar telling me a payment is due today. Please fix this nonsense, and I'll return the two stars I struck for this annoyance.

I just checked app and under make a payment the only option it gives is Cash with no option to set up Auto-Pay. The only way to pay is to go to your local office and pay or call them and enter your card information. What good is this app "Nothing Good" just a pain in the rear end, I wanted to say something else but was being nice. So aggravated. Additional complaints on app, I can't log out of the downloaded app without Powering off phone. All it does is just Spins. Use Playstore to open .

App is unusable once again for a solid 2 weeks. I tried to login just this morning to check my account even though I've tried checking it over the last 2 weeks and it's been a constant failure, and the app doesn't even have a User ID or Password bar to text into. It only has a Login button and when pressed does absolutely nothing. And trying to sign in on the website doesn't work either, because the login page doesn't even load.

I went to the company Last month to pay my bill and they said not to pay it there if so it's extra $7.00 . I thought it was a machine to come pay it in there. so the app I been trying to use took me in circles. very complicated. now I'm late and hate to go in there. One is not as friendly. the other one be busy because she's nice. one in training. now I guess I gotta look for another insurance company.

The insurance is great and low cost. However, the app has some issues. It has been updated several times in the last few months. Every time it updates it stops sending me text messages and notifications to pay my bill. It did not email my bill was due nothing. I just got to thinking 🤔 did I pay my insurance bill. I caught the non-payment just time not lose my tag. Another time it was froze on $14.95 that's all it would let me pay or say I owed. When i called customer service the woman was rude.
