Look, if you’re studying for your permit or just want to brush up on your driving knowledge, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want to pass that permit test on the first try.

So here's my honest take on DMV Permit Practice Test Genie. I've tested a bunch of DMV practice apps and this one's definitely one of the better ones. The questions are super realistic and the exam simulator really prepares you for the real thing. And i like that it covers car, motorcycle, and CDL too - not just the basic permit test. On the downside, the ads can get pretty intrusive if you don't pay for the pro version. And it does get a little repetitive after a while. But overall, it's a pretty solid app that'll help you ace that permit exam.
