Description
Been using DoorList for a couple months now. It’s basically an app for organizing events and controlling access. Pretty solid if you’re into that kinda thing.
Here’s what you do – you can create events and invite people, either individually or by adding a whole organization. And there’s a cool feature where you can give people +1s so they can bring friends. The QR code system works well too, stops people from just screenshotting their way in.
Look, if you’re into event planning and managing guest lists, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the setup can be a bit confusing at first – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my take on DoorList. I've tested a bunch of event management apps and this one's pretty good. The security features are a nice touch and it makes organizing things way easier than the old pen-and-paper guest lists. But it's not the most user-friendly app out there - took me a while to figure some stuff out. Overall though, it's a solid option if you need a simple way to control who gets into your events.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Tons of features for managing events and guest lists
- QR code system is secure and convenient
- Free to use, no need to pay for anything
- Works well for both small gatherings and bigger events
- Integrates nicely with group chats and organization profiles
Cons
- Initial setup and learning curve can be a bit confusing
- Doesn't have the most modern or intuitive interface
- Occasional bugs and glitches that can be annoying
- Might be overkill if you only need to manage small events
