Excellent resources for the provider and the patient.
Reviews for Doximity - Medical Network
← Back to Doximity - Medical NetworkSimple and works it is 5 years later and still works well. able to have a fax on my phone so that I can receive communications from people who for God knows why do not have a scanner and email Debbie life-saving at times
free fax machine, you can call patients and put an office number in. you can also video call. Sometimes the call reception isn't the best
Great for making calls, just super bummed the AI Scribe isn't on Android! When will that update happen? 🥲 **update** AI Scribe is EXCELLENT ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 would recommend
Despite the endless verifying and reverifying I have done over the last hour the dialer STILL doesn't work, and that was the only useful part of the app.
this is an amazing tool which allows me to interact remotely with my patients more robustly without having to reveal my cell phone number.
App is easy to use, intuitive. I see patients within 2 different healthcare systems & often move between 2 different offices within each healthcare system; so it is very helpful that I can pick which office phone number I need to show as calling on the patient's end. it's great to have the option to permit the patient to have a one-time text reply within 4 hours of receiving my message.
great app! but wish it had the option for use of speaker phone while on a call. other than that it is a great tool!
in our corporate practice will you zoom messenger which has poor sound quality and is not stable. this app allows me to use my personal phone to contact patients with good sound quality an added convenience
I used Doximity for over 2 years. It has been a great experience however there are issues to work on calling and caller IDs.
for Samsung phones, in the dictation part, when you change the note type, the options interfere with the bottom navigation bar. you can't change the note type other than progress note which is bad if I want to change to dictation
just let me use this to call patients. every time I open this and see weird ads or tiktok like vids playing. remember your audience doximity. I assume most of us use this app to call patients, not to have the next countless app trying to occupy our time. 2 stars because the call functionality works. 2 stars because when I open the app, I don't see a phone dialing screen...I see worthless ads and vids.
I have used this app on Pixel phones for about 3 years. my two main values for the app are the ability to make phone calls to patients without using my personal number (you can enter the phone number and display name you prefer, and set up multiple numbers); this is excellent for one's own practice or as someone calling on behalf of potentially several different doctors. also the text message ability, to send a text without revealing your number and receive a response.
The app was fine... however, why did I suddenly stop being able to here the line ringing when making an outgoing call? I would really appreciate having that put back into the app. Nothing is more off-putting than calling a patient and getting nothing but silence, then all of a sudden there's a voice or a voicemail on the line.
This is a really good app for work purposes. I would have given 5 stars except for the few times multiple calls needs to be made before a connection takes place (rare but still can be frustrating), and the fact when you want to just leave a VM, which is an option, it reverts to my own number which defeats the purpose of the work connected number.
Great app 09/09- had to amend my review. This app worked great for a time, but don't know if they changed it or what. Now when I make call, the person on the other side can't hear me. I'm always told that my voice is breaking up. Second, sometimes while I'm in the middle of speaking with someone and another call comes through, instead of going to voice mail the phone will ring. The other person doesn't here it but I do and it makes it difficult to carry on a conversation. Third and very
Does not have all functionality of the website. Unable to search for anything but other users. If I were to try to search for the residency navigator to use (which requires sign in for full access), I cannot do it. Using mobile browser instead requires sign in which automatically opens the app but simply to the homepage and not to page/article I was just viewing in the browser. 3 stars, however, for Dialer and Fax. Such great utilities!
Phone calls fail every single time after about 30 seconds. Like it literally just goes silent. I've tried on multiple phones now, reinstalled - consistent issue over several months and devices, though it did work well at one time. Not worth using with this issue. Update 10/30/23 - still happening! I can only talk to someone for about 60 seconds before it goes silent and the screen freezes.
Frustrating! The dialer either disconnects my cell internet despite having full bars or drops my patient calls after 1 minute, which seriously presents a risk to patient care. I've reached out before and was told "we're looking into it" and almost a year later there's no fix. I'm running the latest Android with the same error no matter how many times I reinstall or update. It used to work fine!
As a solo practitioner, the app has been very useful for times when I cannot be in the office, enabling me to receive faxes, as well as make phone calls (which shows my office number on the caller id). The only issue I have encountered thus far is that I cannot go to a different app (such as my calendar) during a call without the call being disconnected.
