In my experience, Dr.Oracle is one of the better medical AI assistants out there. I've tried a few similar apps, and this one seems to do the best job of quickly summarizing evidence-based guidelines and research. The ability to have a real-time conversation with the AI is pretty cool, and I've found it to be generally accurate in its recommendations. That said, the app can feel a bit overwhelming at first with all the features, and the free version is pretty limited. But if you're willing to pay for the full version, I'd say it's a worthwhile investment, especially for healthcare students and professionals who need to stay on top of the latest medical knowledge.

Description

I’ve been using the Dr.Oracle AI Medical Assistant app for a couple months now. It’s basically an AI-powered tool that helps healthcare professionals like me stay on top of the latest medical guidelines and research. The idea is to give you quick access to evidence-based information, so you can always make informed decisions for your patients.

Here’s what you can do with it: you can ask the AI all sorts of medical questions, like “what’s the latest treatment for hypertension?” or “how do I manage a patient with COPD?” and it’ll give you a summary of the consensus from major medical organizations. There’s also a huge database of conditions, treatments, and drug info that you can browse through. And pretty handy stuff.

Look, if you’re a med student, resident, PA, or nurse practitioner, you’ll probably find this app really useful. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a bit clunky at times and the free version has some limitations. But overall, it’s a solid tool that can save you a ton of time looking up medical info. Worth checking out if you’re in the healthcare field.

Never connects to server, so no questions can be asked or answered.

ChatGPT but with PubMed access, actually gives an answer instead of telling me to talk to a doctor

Failed on a few questions on delirium management. Embarrassingly bad. Failed to distinguish between ICU delirium and non ICU delirium. Cited ancient and/or obscure studies and made wrong deductions. So...
