Reviews for DramaShorts: Watch TV & Shows

← Back to DramaShorts: Watch TV & Shows

it cost so much just for one episode at this rate it'll take two months just to finish one short it's ridicules. they really need better options it look like it's some good shorts but I'll never know. uuugh it's frustrating. Don't waste your time it's way better shorts where you can watch the short in 2 days by collecting coins from ads and it doesn't cost much to unlock. 😑

Another money guzzling app. I love cheesey dramas, but this one wants you to subscribe for coins. Doesn't say what the cost is. I'd rather pay for a cheesey drama app that gives you access to everything for a week vs. this. Same plots and ammateure acting for way less money. ETA for developers response: watching ads and checking in for coins isn't going to make it worth it. How many ads do you have to watch to be able to unlock an episode? How many days do you have to check in to do the same?

I love many of the stories but the fact that there so short and costly and you can only watch so many ads to collect so many coins and they vary in prices is UGH. I have pocketFm as well and there longer and I can keep watching ads to move forward all day long yes at times it's annoying but it's just like TV commercials. I think once I finally finish this last series I will delete app unless they make some serious changes. Update: reread my review I don't have to pay just watch ads no coins ect.

To expensive. Each episode cost like 100 coins. The weekly rates are even worst. And when they offer special deals it's on 10 episode for free. Other apps give you unlimited episodes for free a specific time frame at a specific rate. Like 14.99 weekly unlimited. The shorts look interesting but not enough for me to spend 100's of dollars to watch.

I want to watch some of the shorts, but the price is insane. It costs more than mainstream streaming services, and while these shorts are fun to watch, the quality isn't there to charge so much. You can watch ads to unlock episodes, which is fine, but while I have no problem loading the ad and watching it, after leaving the ad it just spins and I never get to watch the next episode. I watched an ad three times, never got to see the next episode, and, so, I am now deleting the app. Not worth it.

The subscription model is deceptive at best and downright scamming at worst. I paid for a 1-week "full access" subscription. The app pushed two free trials at me. I agreed to the free trials, but they charged me immediately. I was watching the drama I wanted to see and after 34 episodes, it asked me for coins to unlock. Full access means all episodes! I canceled, but I won't be getting my money back from the three charges.

One of the worst drama apps. Good videos. However, having to watch 7 minutes of ads just to earn enough coins to watch ONE 30 second video is ridiculous. Also, app does not tell you how many coins you have accumulated until you have enough to watch a video and does not tell you the cost of the video until you have enough coins. Not user friendly at all. 1 star. Do not recommend to others.

I only downloaded and signed up for the app because in their subscription policy it says their subscription tiers may be 4.99 USD for a week, 10.99 USD for a month and 29.99 USD for three months. I was excited to subscribe because those are some prices I can get behind. Turns out, the emphasis was on "may" and they switched it once I created an account to 11 USD and change PER WEEK. That's waaayyyy more than the big on-demand streamers, and I'm sorry these are not Hollywood actors. Shameful.

Rip off. I paid for a "unlimited access" package and had absolutely nothing to show for it. Stole my money. My bank account was flagged, which never happens, so that seems sus. Don't advertise unlimited access if you're still expecting people to pay more on top of that. There are plenty of other apps that don't do this to you. Complete waste of money.

Just discovered these movies a few weeks ago, and I'm hooked!! DOWNGRADED MY 5 STAR REVIEW. After purchasing a discounted weekly plan, I am having a devil of a time with buffering. I've tried everything I know, including deleting history, making sure there's enough storage, etc.

Not free friendly, rewards are 24 hours, and not one second soon make them impossible to get daily and have a life. What you do get does allow for many views. After 24 hours to dot, you can watch 3 min+ in ads to unlock the next 1 min episode. If you pay, I'm sure the app is good, but sucks if you can't afford to pay.

I do enjoy reviewing these things and I like to try first to see if its worth it... first, I should not be forced to make an account period. second, when I watch an ad to unlock the next episode it wont open. third, others give 10 unlock ads not 3 and you only give 3. fourth, no one should have to always pay for coins and you do not give enough items to earn coins. This is one drama app I will not keep as in my eyes it is not worth it.

I enjoy my short dramas and have subscribed to other apps. The subscription to this app is different. Instead of getting access to all the episodes for a monthly/weekly fee I get daily coins to unlock the 30 second episodes. The plan I picked that I thought gave me unlimited access worked out to enough coins for 3 episodes a day for a grand total of 15 minutes a month for $20. I'll stick with my other apps instead of this one.

They cost way too much to watch and if you don't read the fine print they set you up for automatic payments without you knowing it and then claim that its outlined very clearly when it infact is not. I only used it for 1 video and thought I paid for only the times I needed it and then it kept charging my account every week. When I wrote customer service to ask for a refund because I didnt sign up for it, they refused to refund me and told me "it was clearly outlined" when it was NOT.

The dramas have decent acting, which is why I gave an extra star, but the writing is typical, nothing very interesting or new there. And the cost! Wow! The cost is unreal for what you get. The value just isn't there. $199.99/year? Are you out of your mind? Even the $19.99/week is too much. The price point is ridiculous. On top of that, there is no way to gain coins to view the VERY SHORT EPISODES beyond liking/following the app on various social media platforms. After that, they want our cash.

The app keeps crashing on all my WIFI platforms. The selection is limited with no easy way to search for the shorts you would like. One has to actually read each short to find the ones you want! After buying the 7day pass I'm more than disappointed with this app! It doesn't even offer enough titles to binge watch for the 7days! I would like my money back...I know I won't get it but I hope others don't waste their money on this app!

I did the 20 for a month and you still have to watch ads for the "free" episodes. on top of that you it forces you back and episode you have to waste the ad or small amount of points on it twice to get to the next one. what a rip im so mad that I wasted a dollar on this. STAY AWAY! FIND SOMETHING THAT IS ACTUALLY WORTH IT. Its more expensive to watch a short than it is to have Netflix, Hulu, Disney and Any other streaming service together. Wish I could get my money back!

I agree with alot of your former clients. too expensive. the ads are ok; however, not enough reward to match coins you want per episode. maybe check out other apps and how they work. I'm deleting app. if there is a connection problem and I am told to try again. listen people it's still uses your co I nd ans you guessed it , you get nothing. I only have fa few episodes left, but not waiting since you kept my coins.

edit: I was given a complete refund and customer service was excellent. This app is by far the most expensive, and most difficult to navigate of these drama apps. My $8 trial ended up costing me near $40, and that didn't even unlock very much. I watched less than half a movie and was prompted to buy more coins to finish it. I canceled the subscription and was told I was charged more than the initial $8 because I hit "continue" after I signed up. Try Candyjar, Super cheap and much better shows.

I've really enjoyed my time spent on this app. It's a weekly app if you don't want to wait, so the price can add up fast. The one thing that really bums me out is that too many of the shorts end on cliffhangers with no sequels or any idea when/if a sequel will be released. I will probably just keep watching out without paying until I see any sequels. Overall I like the actors and the productions and they have a good variety of genres.
