It's a amazing app!! the choice of brushes are great, it's very simple, but it's very useful and easy to use!, overall all I love it, but recommend adding a time lapse tho, but again it's still an amazing app and I've already made some artworks with it!!!!
Reviews for Drawing Pad Lite - Artbook
← Back to Drawing Pad Lite - Artbookthis is the best app ever sure there can be some disappointing things like when you save it when you're not done and like you accidentally messed up and you saved it so you have to go back and do this and that and you can't go back with the eero it's okay cuz you can just redo it and cover over it I mean color like it's the best app ever I think everybody should use in my opinion
This app is low-key a very good app for drawing!! I can share my stuff, and the tools (without the subscription) are incredibly good! I NEVER have issues with this app! If I could rate it a 10/10, I would! I also love that you can add images into your drawings and stuff, it's very good! I LOVEEE this app, man... Hopefully this app doesn't end up like capcut... 🫤 Edit: I barely see any ads, too. I only see 1 or 2, and that's it! Amazing app tbhhh... 😋
This is my third edit,I now have ads again, very dissapointed. ok so this app is pretty good for drawing and idc about the pay wall for certain brushes and layers. But the consistent ads are so annoying. I recommend finding another drawing app that doesn't have ads if you're just a casual artist wanting something for your phone. Otherwise this is a good drawing app. yep.
I don't use it as a pro level art tool, or as like something huge. but to have as a little notepad like drawing app with more features than I need on my phone. it's great and does as it says. I'm sure if you wanna invest the time with the app you could make something wonderful. but for me it's a note pad sketch book I always have on hand.
Was a decent app, until they added unskippable ads every time you try to do anything. Want to change colors ? Ad. Want to change brushes? Ad. Want to start a new drawing? Ad. Also I know they're just gonna respond to this with, "ads are usually part of the free trial, pay us to get the premium version ☝️🤓" but here's the thing: there used to be way less ads on this app. I will be uninstalling and getting a different app instead. Ibis paint and Autodesk sketchbook are good alternatives to this.
This app doesn't have much ads and it's fun to use when you're bored. I love it! 5 stars!!! Not much bugs 🐛 to fix, but it's good! You don't need wifi with it, and it's easy to use with a stylus. It's good to have this app, because you can do anything with it! You can draw whatever you want, like if it was REAL paper! You can print it out too... I love it, and really recommend it! P.S. .(This. Wasn't an AI response) Byeeeee! 😊⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐tysm for posting and make sure to leave a "helpful" button!⬇️⬇️
This app has been pretty nice to use for drawing or other use things for a while now. But I got on today and all of a sudden, ads. Ads commonly. When you exit and re-enter the app without closing it, opening a project on it, now opens an ad. I get the use for them, but this is coming left field, when there were only ads that played on screen as you used the app, or watched for extra tools. It mostly annoys me when I'm trying to use the app, but it's not the end of the world and I'll still use it
this is the most comfortable drawing app for mobile, even though there are other apps with more features. my problem is, i dont know how it saves project files. theres no way to organise the project files into folders, which is messy with alot of drawings, and i will eventually lose everything when i get a new phone someday. if this problem ever gets fixed, then i will want to buy the premium version and rate this 5 stars. but right now, i have no choice but to use another app.
I thank you for your honest explanation but I still only give the new version 3 stars, as it claims that an in-app purchase is available, but as far as I can tell, it is ad-supported only. That aside, the app is fun and (in its previous incarnation) I've done dozens of drawings with it. Unlike some other art apps it has never crashed or deleted my sketches. One improvement would be if there were separate tool slots on the hot bar for the inking and erasing, instead of their sharing one slot.
Ok. First of all I love how you can watch only one ad and get 24 hours free premium, but if you're going to trick me into getting this app by seeing the pic and thinking "dang! That's great detail!" That is low. I saw the pic and was immediately entranced by it and I thought "I'm an artist and this is beautiful detail, imma get it." Turns out it's like a five year old sketch pad. I want more than just pen pencil paint brush marker and eraser. I want just ONE APP with better detail than ibis. One
This is actually a really great app. I will be re installing it. Just had to fix my phone ( completely unrelated to this ) I have used all the big brand and most popular drawing apps, this one is up there on the level with them, the ui is a little plain in appearance, but the tools are legit. I don't need flashy where effort into operation can be utilized by a dev so kudos on that. I love the crayon and the rainbow effect, only wish I could pick colors independently for the rainbow but it's 👍😀
I've used this app for 2 1/2 years now and loved it. You used to be able to just use the premium tools after watching an add... However now I suddenly have to pay 14.99 a WEEK just to use the tools I used to be able to use for pretty much free. Plus getting ads EVERY TIME I do something is infuriating! I loved this app and it's been with me since the beginning of my digital art journey... But now I feel it is time for us to part ways. I truly can't express how disappointed and saddened I am.
It was great... Untill they updated it! Like I was fine with the ads on the side, because they don't get in your way or bother you but now it plays a add every time you enter and leave the app!!! The drawing is good but the ads are crazy now the ads were alright untill the update, I liked it better how it was originally, Im deleting the app because of this and the "premium features" which when it used to not play and add every time it was fine but now 😭
I believe that this is a good app but I only give it three stars because the tools are complicated and I cannot figure out how to make layers without using the subscription. I understand that in order to make money you need to make there be a subscription but it is always too much that goes to all digital art user apps. In order to give this more stars I need to be able to use the layers function and easier ways to get to the tools like a side bar or something that can be clicked on and so on!
Adpocalypse. I've had this app for a while, but now it's ads every 15 seconds that directly interrupt my strokes. Draw 3.5 lines? ad. Change color? ad. Change brush? ad. Open menu to see other tools? ad. Accidently click the wrong tool and return to the one you just had? Oh, you better believe that's an ad. Congrats on creating an art program that's so stuffed with Ads that i literally cannot use the program for it's intended purpose And no I'm not upgrading to premium, I'm uninstalling now.
Honestly, it's a really good sketchbook. The base app without buying premium is really good and very usable, though I think the premium prices are pretty high (14.99$ per week). Still, I wouldn't know very well because this is one of the first drawing apps I've used. Also, I love being able to trace, it helps a lot for someone who is not great at drawing!
The app is easy to use, but is missing functions you would expect from a drawing app. The blending tool isn't good, and tends to blend into the background. The ads for the app have gotten worse, where before it would only give ads in the menu, but now it gives ads when opening tabs while drawing. There's no way to know when you're going to get an ad, and this has caused several times where I have accidentally clicked an ad and have been forced off the app to a website I don't trust.
As a Lite sketch app, it's pretty useful. Obviously, as the name implies, I wouldn't use it for any profesional art. But small touch ups can be done for a lot of things. It has a paid or a free version. The few times I've used it, I've uses the free version. Watch an ad and that's it. So I can't comment if the paid version is worth it, but over all a pretty handy app.
Two stars because what little time I spent on it the UI is pretty easy to use. However the number of ads was insane, like every time you switch a tool you get a full screen ad that plays for 30sec. And I understand they offer a premium version, but I want to test an app out before paying for it, and the price for premium is crazy, $15 a WEEK? And for what looked like just a couple extra brushes and unlimited layers. Photoshop is $23 monthly by comparison
