Very good, easy, and can work on the background so your free to use nav apps or anything els, my only problem is the max record time is 90 minutes, and mid drive if it stops recording its little hard to get a moment to start recording again, would be good to have a no time limit option, or have it start a new recording until you manually stop it.

Uninstalled within 10 minutes of installing and trying it out--was FLOODED with ads! I am willing to pay for a product that produces good results, but the free version is a JOKE and I didn't even get to use it long enough to determine if it's worth paying $14.99/mo for. (It's not worth it!)

Very good, simple, does the job correctly. Only issue i have is i cant set up a diferent directory to save the files in, currently its in Android/data, and in some of the phones that directory is blocked or hidden, and the files wont even show in the galery or cant be acessed by file manager, so its kind of a hassel to pull the videos out. Otherwise, the app is very good, been using it for a year now every time i ride on my motorcycle.

Just downloaded this app but it seemed to be just what I am looking for, something to record my comment while I am in the car. Will post an update as soon as I test it out on an actual drive. My only recommendations at this point are that the app be updated for Android Auto compatibility and/or have a setting that launches the app and starts recording as soon as it is connected to a car's Bluetooth. EDIT 6/24/20: Have to change my review to 1 star. App never worked, crashes & crashes my phone.

Downloaded after a cop pulled me over for "running a red light" when it actually barely turned yellow when I was already in the intersection so by the time I made it to the other side it hadn't even turned red yet. Ive also been the target of a few hit and runs. Hopefully no more.... but so far, app is doing what I need it to do. It eliminated the need for me to buy an actual dashcam.

Update: Tried this app again today 2/25/23 because I saw there was an update on 11/28/22. Been wanting to use this app for around a year or more but it's still useless. Can't even see if the issue of it stopping recording after a couple videos is fixed. It only lets me select internal memory. No room to do video on the internal memory; I always use the card. App doesn't even see my 512GB card. It did before. Android 11.

Uninstalled not even 5 Minutes into trying the app because I am getting flooded by ads. Yes you can buy a product if I believe in it, however, when I am not able to use it because of the constant ads then why should I even try? I have spent more money in simpler apps because they didn't make it impossible to try and figure out the dang thing. *After a response to the developer.

Doing the job, but is very hungry. I left the phone as surveillance camera for few hours with the app in background and the screen off and drained the whole battery starting from 100%, in 3 hours. It's good while you have power connected. Also don't have the possibility to go in standby when the power cuts of, then automatically starting when power comes back like other apps. Have to keep starting the app every single time... is annoying.

I've had the opportunity to use the app, just for a half hour, and so far, I like it. Mounted on my motorcycle, it does as described. Records location, and speed (sort of). My battery level increased. Videos are easy to access, and the edit tool works perfectly. It's approaching winter here, so not sure there'll be many more biking days left, and another opportunity to assess it. So, today I loaded this app on another phone, an older model, running Android 5.1. It works equally well there.

Don't get me wrong. This is probably the best dash cam app I could find so far. Lost 1 star because I couldn't find a way to retrieve the video file through Windows Explorer and it shows up as system files in Androids own file explorer, so media apps can't find them either. Lost 1 star because it stutters a lot when battery gets to around 30%. That's far from triggering battery saving mode. I have no idea what's going on here...

Works good, You going to be fast in a draw when you go to delete or upload a video cuz it's an ad right over the buttons of course and then you go to hit the back button and start all over again for another ad, or it would be a five star. You don't need ads on an app to get paid and makes its way to the place "STORE" They make money, They just want to make more money I think it's called greed... Anyway thanks for the app, You should take the ads out and put in app purchases like a real app

Ok. I know these use allot of resources so using other apps might stall phone. This one crashed first time used and turned off all other running apps. The point is to be able to use other apps ie.v navigation or stream music otherwise I would just use the video recorder! Stopped recording when I went to use gps even though set to run in background. And oh yeah? Is it a red box that's recording or the red circle? Simplify please..uh we're driving. 3 stars because some other apps are worse

After a week or so of use, the biggest complaint is that when you go into background mode, the icon that's a big stop button doesn't stop the recording. You have to pull down the top app tray and press the pause button. If you go into the app while its recording it auto stops the recording instead of just showing it on screen. It does what it's meant to do for the most part, but due to broken features I'm leaving it 3 star. Also, dont bribe people to leave reviews.

Don't trust the "recording in background" feature! Took a crazy drive through a fire-devastaed zone, and later, had a suicidal deer. Caught a road-rager (I thought!!!!) Had thumbnail images of the drives like they were captured - sadly, they were not. Each video was 6 seconds long. Soon as I put it in background, zip. But the icon for recording was there, drawn on top of my map app. There should be a popup warning!!! I'll never get that footage back. Law enforcement disappointed too!

I have to say, this app is exactly what I wanted and does exactly what is suppose to do. Works in the background. I can even play music through Amazon music via Bluetooth to my car stereo while this app is recording audio and video in the background. Easy to start and stop recording whether app is in background or on screen. Quality out audio and video adjustable, but is excellent. Videos are shareable and can be trimmed. I use this app every time I drive, especially my commercial vehicle.

Good free app but as other reviews have stated 1. The background icon does very little and if u open the app whilst it's recording, it stops the video 2. Someone says u can use both cameras at the same time but it's either or, not both. Be good to have both running at the same time. 3. Be good to select SD card for storage 4. Sucks up alot of battery power, better to use with a power source. Other than the above, it's very good for a free app.

Great app. I have tried other dash cam apps and I have decided this is the best one. I love the fact it can write to my SD card. I have a 256 gig SD card with hardly anything on it. Most apps can't write seemlessly to the SD card. This app also lets you decide how much data you want to keep before it over writes. I have mine set to 20 gig, but I will probably increase as I go on. The ads are not to obtrusive, you just need to open the app before you start driving to avoid being surprised by ads.

Very surprised. You can select duration up to 90(although it skips 2, 5, 10, 20 etc) record audio or not, use front or back camera, upload and share, have time stamp, adjust quality, control storage size, record in the background, add GPS or not and more. Lots of features for a completely free app! Definitely worth giving it a try! I promise you will not regret it!

Got a $20 phone mount and a free app and it works better than any dash cam that price. Its fairly easy to use and does loops and lets you choose how much storage it will use before it starts deleting videos so you dont use all of your phones storage. You can turn on location and it will see that, you can turn on the front camera too if you want, it displays time and date, you can change the "exposure" and minimize it so you can use your gps or switch songs or whatever so its pretty good!

Had been using the free version of this app for several months and it was excellent, with limited ads. Now there are intrusive video ads that use up data, which makes it useless for me. And there's no way I'm paying $14.99 per WEEK! My limit would be closer to $5 per MONTH. So I'll be exploring other apps or just putting my dashcam back up. Too bad.
