Reviews for Drugs.com Medication Guide

Sometimes I use it to identify my meds from pharmacy. They switch manufacturers all the time, don't always tell me. I opened a bottle & was confused. What's this?🤔It's different from previous RX. The prior pharmacy I had (not current one), actually had ONE PILL in my bottle, that wasn't mine. I took a picture of the pill, & your app identified it as Methadone! I don't take that med! Had I taken that one pill (by accident), it would have killed me. Contraindicated in another RX I take. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!!

This app has been useful over many years while working in healthcare. I've utilized the pill identifier countless times over the 10+ years I worked in home health where a client had dropped or mixed up their medications and had several pills that looked similar.

Used to be the go-to app for first responders to help identify and look up medications and what they're prescribed for, however, it's really gone downhill in the past several years. Information that was previously laid out well regarding pill identification, prescription diagnosis, and common side effects (especially for patients who overdose on them) is now difficult to find and filled with distracting ads that makes this app useless in the field.

If you want to start a road to recovery and improve your health get this app. Plug in all your meds look and read and pay attention to the interactions. Doctors can't do it all but this app with help you help yourself. It helped me save myself by using the simple color warning system for drug interactions I started to see where I was over medicated and what medicines were fighting against against each other. I took this information to my doctor and talked to them and they listened. It saved me

I have the 1 yr no-ads sub & I get ads EVERY DAY. I have tried logging out & in the app, which only works sometimes for a day. This is happening on multiple devices, Motorolas & Samsungs, & Android OS ver. 13, 14, 15. Previous versions of this app had a restore subscription option that I would have to use EVERY DAY. The current version of this app removed that option. This has been going for 2 years! DO NOT USE THIS APP EVER!!! A month after my review, it is STILL A PROBLEM that needs fixing!!

Highly recommend this app for people who need to keep track of many different medications, especially if they change often. It has many helpful features for both managing existing medications/dosages and researching new ones (it checks interactions with both other drugs and any medical conditions you might have). Having a list to refer to when I visit my doctors, to make sure I can get all the dosages straight and not leave anything out, gives a lot of peace of mind.

I have had multiple surgeries, resulting in a variety of medications, and doctors. During every initial visit, the intake forms always request a medical history. I have tried multiple applications for the storage of my medicines, surgeries, and hospital visits. This is the only application that can record the above information, it has additional features, one being the pill identifier, I use this to verify medications when I get a new prescription or meds change, and other helpful applications.

I find the app very useful for tracking my many meds and checking interactions. However there seems to be a bug with the sharing feature. When I try to share my med list, it shares a link to create a new profile instead. I have had to manually type the URL for my profile in order to direct the recipient to the right place. This is an important feature for me because it makes it easier to give doctors accurate info and because I want a friend to have an up to date list in case of emergency.

Excellent app. for tracking all your meds. along with all the possible side effects and adverse interactions with other meds. Makes it so much easier than going through a list of all your meds. and cross indexing them to every other med. you have. This is especially true for meds. that are taken on an as needed basis. 🙃😁 I take about 35 total different meds., of which about 30 are by prescription. This is a real time saver and maybe a life saver. Knowing which meds. to not take. 😁🤓 SUPER APP

Seems to be very useful when on complex med list. However. Would be nice to be able to develop a way to split list based on meds scheduled time to take. As drugs interact with others they need to be separated by time, I had to devise 5 separated list to get true interaction data based on that scheduled med list. Needs to have ability to copy/move between profile list(s) to make sub lists, instead of having to reenter data each time. Very time consuming and more likely to human error. Great.
