over all the app functions and is easier to use than tinder. however. I am suspicious that there may be fake profiles. there seem to be a lot of people who will like and match but dont open messages. however the few who do are fairly responsive and respectful compared to other apps.
I matched with 5 profiles in 5 days, but mysteriously none of them replied even though they "just" liked me. Also mysteriously, they all appear to be from the same city that isn't far from me. But one of them had a social media tag on their profile so I checked it out and they live in a completely different state. The app is nothing but fake profiles that are "100% verified". Thankfully I didn't give in to the constant pay wall notices because it'd be nothing but more fake profiles.
If zero stars were an option, it'd better describe this non-functional app. The swiping doesn't load anyone even with filters completely off. The rest of the app is locked down behind pay walls. You pretty much can't hit anything without a pay wall pop-up. The payments are subscription based, which is pretty typical. Given the fact that the most basic functions of the app are unavailable/ not working, I couldn't imagine paying for more problems.
to be honest, this app suck. you have soooo much potential, but you have dead accounts on here, and it literally texts like it's the person so the user can text first. Then, you can tell that the account user has not been on there for a while. and it's very annoying that I gotta pay to see who is close by to match with. why would you do that? that's so ignorant for trying to make money out of this. I'd rather go on hinge to like and never see if I'm like back. At least, people are on there.
I've had sections of my profile repeatedly yanked for unexplained "community guidelines violations". you can't even request clarification. I know 100% nothing I typed was offensive or explicit. not to mention system asks for an avalanche of preferences, then ignores all of them while compiling a swipe pool. I did pay for premium, it's not worth the cost. I've matched a few times not one conversation has progressed past saying "hi" even when the other person is the one who matched me, crickets.
Location, Location, Location. This app is only helpful if you want long-distance relationships. I've got my location set and still receive profiles to view that are 100+ miles away. Why would anyone want that!? I can't seem to find a way to make the 'maximum distance' actually work. Useless app for dating. update, 7/3- still no one close. no real matches. no close profiles, fake ones or not. I Uninstalled.
This app is rubbish. everything that you want is locked behind a paywall. Trying to cancel your membership is impossible. I'll give it to them for that, if you can't figure out how to cancel, you keep paying. That's good for them. Emails sent are not responded to. I took the only option available under accounts and it did nothing. It only purged my account but didn't cancel my subscription. I did finally get it canceled under the Google play subscriptions. do not join this. It's a total rip off!
The app actually seems really cool if you're paying for premium, but the free user experience is terrible. My feed is filled with people from crazy distances away, people way too young for me, and all other preference settings are ignored as well. Plus, they'll send you notifications for the same person you swiped left on over and over and over again. If you want to pay for premium, I say give it a shot. If not, I recommend staying away.
I don’t usually leave reviews, but I don’t want others wasting their time. I paid twice thinking the first attempt didn’t go through, but it didn’t help. The filters don’t work. If you set your age range to 26–29, it still matches you with people as young as 18 or 19. they removed the ethnicity filter, it shows all kinds of results outside your preference. Theres way too many fake profiles and noone replies. save your time and skip this app. Join local meetup groups with similar interests.
The app really only gives you people outside of your city, unless you pay $50 a month for the "nearby" tab. And as of right now, you can buy the subscriptions for premium and their premium+, but there's nowhere in the app to turn off the subscription. It also sends notifications on the hour practically, and there's no notification settings. Their website is even worse, it's just a diet version of the app that tries to get you to buy the subscriptions.
