over all the app functions and is easier to use than tinder. however. I am suspicious that there may be fake profiles. there seem to be a lot of people who will like and match but dont open messages. however the few who do are fairly responsive and respectful compared to other apps.

I matched with 5 profiles in 5 days, but mysteriously none of them replied even though they “just” liked me. Also mysteriously, they all appear to be from the same city that isn’t far from me. But one of them had a social media tag on their profile so I checked it out and they […]
If zero stars were an option, it’d better describe this non-functional app. The swiping doesn’t load anyone even with filters completely off. The rest of the app is locked down behind pay walls. You pretty much can’t hit anything without a pay wall pop-up. The payments are subscription based, which is pretty typical. Given the […]
to be honest, this app suck. you have soooo much potential, but you have dead accounts on here, and it literally texts like it’s the person so the user can text first. Then, you can tell that the account user has not been on there for a while. and it’s very annoying that I gotta […]
I’ve had sections of my profile repeatedly yanked for unexplained “community guidelines violations”. you can’t even request clarification. I know 100% nothing I typed was offensive or explicit. not to mention system asks for an avalanche of preferences, then ignores all of them while compiling a swipe pool. I did pay for premium, it’s not […]
Location, Location, Location. This app is only helpful if you want long-distance relationships. I’ve got my location set and still receive profiles to view that are 100+ miles away. Why would anyone want that!? I can’t seem to find a way to make the ‘maximum distance’ actually work. Useless app for dating. update, 7/3- still […]
This app is rubbish. everything that you want is locked behind a paywall. Trying to cancel your membership is impossible. I’ll give it to them for that, if you can’t figure out how to cancel, you keep paying. That’s good for them. Emails sent are not responded to. I took the only option available under […]
The app actually seems really cool if you’re paying for premium, but the free user experience is terrible. My feed is filled with people from crazy distances away, people way too young for me, and all other preference settings are ignored as well. Plus, they’ll send you notifications for the same person you swiped left […]
I don’t usually leave reviews, but I don’t want others wasting their time. I paid twice thinking the first attempt didn’t go through, but it didn’t help. The filters don’t work. If you set your age range to 26–29, it still matches you with people as young as 18 or 19. they removed the ethnicity […]
The app really only gives you people outside of your city, unless you pay $50 a month for the “nearby” tab. And as of right now, you can buy the subscriptions for premium and their premium+, but there’s nowhere in the app to turn off the subscription. It also sends notifications on the hour practically, […]
Honestly didn’t even get past the setup portion because every time I needed to leave the app, it reset me back to the very beginning. Had this happen 3 times and so honestly I’m just gonna pass on it. I did however like the fact that they have a large variety of quips you can […]
Would not recommend Duet to anybody. You have to pay for ”premium service” (which is as expensive compared to other apps) just to be able to filter people or even read a message. They “match you or say someone liked you” within seconds of you uploading your profile. But the people who “just liked you” […]
I really like the app! my only problem is that filters don’t work, especially the distance one. It’s disheartening to make a match with someone who looks like they would be awesome just to learn they live multiple states away. I set my distance marker to 30 miles and maybe one in every 10-15 swipes […]
Possibly the worst UX of any app, and certainly the worst of all dating apps. Filters don’t work at all: what good is an algorithm if it doesn’t do what it’s supposed to? The AI that’s used isn’t good (for example, using correct grammar and tense in creating profiles), and the upselling is ridiculous. It’s […]
I had hope for this app. When I was filling everything out, it seemed like it would be really thorough and actually help me find someone, but that’s not the case. I “match” with so many people, but like 95% of people I see are out of my state. Only like 5% of people I […]
I like the concept and users are required to have more info on their profiles than most other apps. The location and age filters do not seem to work. I’m constantly seeing profiles of men way younger than me even though I’ve filtered that out. The location seemed to work, until I found that matches […]
this app could be good. has a decent ui, simple, and detailed. but when it comes to actually finding someone, it sucks, especially with premium. you buy it, and all of a sudden, people are swiping on you one after another. The thing is, they are all from hundreds of miles away. the filter for […]
You can’t message anyone without paying. And there are constant pop-ups asking you to subscribe. With a filter set to within 100 miles, I am constantly being shown people in other states. How is this helpful? You can’t click nearby without paying and you have to scroll to the bottom of the profile to see […]
it does this really really dumb thing where it pops up suggestions for times and places to meet and when it pops up, there’s no way to go back to the conversation until you click the buttons. This ruins the conversation by forcing you to be so incredibly forward, asking to meet up after 2-3 […]
the interface is great, and pirctures are verified through biometrics, which is nice. lessens the chance of fake profiles. the paid version is a bit pricey and sends you lots of people out of state, kinda weird. of you want to see your local matches you have tonpay for premium which isnt worth it as […]
