The app isn't bad, but the "boosted status" requirements are extreme. No one should have to do 12 separate visits, as, realistically, most people wouldn't visit that many times in a month. The other issue is that there aren't ever any real deals, just promotions for basic combos. It needs deals like "get a free medium hot or cold coffee" or "buy one breakfast sandwich, get one free."

Every other order and item is not available and we are stuck having to get something we didn't want. Also it would be easier if refunds could be made through the app since a manager has to be available for a refund in store. Lots of times in the afternoon one is not on site and again I have no choice but to have to pick something I don't want or drive all the way back for a refund.
Most menu items aren't in the app. I can't just do a mobile order and walk in and grab it and go. I always have to specially request items because basic donuts like a chocolate frosted aren't in the app. But ordering in-store is just as bad. You would think Dunkin could afford to develop an app/ordering system that actually lists the products they offer. It's a good thing I still like their donuts.
Horrible app...I have never seen an app log me out so many times. Every time I go to order at drive thru or inside it logs itself out when I open the app. Annoying Wi-Fi hot-spot login pop up constantly getting in the way. You should go back to the old app..it was far superior to this piece of junk. And now constant slow or non-existent loading of app. Then if I do get it to load and I need to add funds it doesn't load properly and is stuck in limbo. I am going to go elsewhere at this point.
Trash. Seemed easy, I used app daily for months at the drive thru, they scan and I earn points. BUT the first time i tryed to redeem points it became a hassle and after 20 min of trying i gave up. Why do I need to add a payment method if the total is zero. Seems as though they dont want customers to redeem rewards. Going to one of the many other breakfast options from now on. I had enjoyed dunkin but if they're going to offer a reward they should honor it without needing my bank info
Absolutely worst app created with no cancelation option available in the app . I ordered Cappuccino and Hot Chocolate on the app and paid for it . And when I go to the store to collect it, they say they don't have it and only serve the original blend and nothing else. Also need to contact customer service to cancel the order, where every operator is always busy and no one responds.
every time I do a mobile order, the location days they don't have something and I need to choose something else. there's no point in ordering ahead if they don't have any kind of inventory tracking to see what's available. and the restaurant says they can't refund mobile orders so you can't even cancel the order they can't fulfill; you're required to get something you don't even want or forfeit your money
The updated feature to schedule an order at a specific time doesn't work, last I tried it; but now I don't trust it so I won't ever use it again. They changed what used to be auto activated weekly offers (like 100 points on Mondays) to being manually activated; they're nickel and diming us now, making us work more for our coupons. The app also now logs me out every 2 weeks, and fingerprint unlock doesn't work there.
Twice in three days, I placed an order and completed payment, only to have my order canceled and the items placed back in my cart. the second time I attempted the first order, it didn't ask for my card information and indicated that the money had already been moved to my dunkin account, meaning the money was taken out and my order was still not placed. I'm not placing a single order at any dunkin, online or otherwise, until this bug is fixed.
They advertise Mobile Mondays and want you to order ahead, but half the time it doesn't let you add funds to your Dunkin card! Fix your tech! As of 8/1/25, I am still getting the same error and cannot load funds. I've been having this issue for weeks. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiplie times, so it's not an issue of having the latest version. Are you anti-Android or something?? This is terrible!
This app gave me nothing but headaches. It never worked right. It would consistently tell me items were unavailable, only for me to go in store and see them available. Other times items that I ordered multiple times would just not be visible in the app, but would be on the menu at the store. If I could actually manage to get the items I wanted in my cart, my payment attempts wouldn't go through. Absolutely terrible experience. I should have deleted this app a long time ago.
It works if you have mundane orders, and offers SOME customization, but there are several issues. 1. If something's out of stock, there's no way for the store to tell you until you get there; some sort of in-app feedback/subs would be nice (or option to cancel the item and refund $/points) 2. No "no-bread" customization, so I end up always having to order my partner's food (low carb) at the counter anyways 3. Some store-specific items aren't listed. Let stores add their stuff to their menu!
DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP. I ordered on the App. My food wasn't ready. Some of it was out of stock, so they made nothing. My coffee was made wrong and the girl refused to make it correctly, so I left with nothing! Now I can't get a refund. Their customer care line is not in service. Doordash is so much easier and they issue refunds immediately. Do not bother with this App. I deleted it before because of issues and I don't know why I gave it another chance.
The deals are really good and if you go to Dunkin' regularly, it's really easy to accumulate points! They also let you stack offers. The only thing that gets me is the fact you have to activate the offers to use them. It's just a click of a button, but I often forget to activate them and miss out. Even though they expire, they cycle through and you get the same offer again. 100% recommend for people who frequent Dunkin.
Somehow managed to place a duplicate order for a cart that I had already ordered, when I was trying to clear a cart that I had already ordered because for unknown reasons it was STILL showing items in my cart despite having already placed an order. Store can't cancel orders so I have to create a support ticket to cancel a glitching app order not even 30 seconds after it's placed?! Absolutely insane that this app can accidentally place orders, yet has no cancel order feature. BE CAREFUL!
changing to 1 star cuz of the points system. 1st was 200 points, any drink. then with the new system my drink went to 900 points! today it just went up another 50. RIDICULOUS! Liked original much better. they also need to figure out a way to refund when what you order is not there (or when espresso machine is down!) aside from the points system, I haven't had any problems ordering from app-so that's good!
The pay through the app function glitches. It has happened twice now that I go to pay using the app, there is plenty of money in the Dunkin account based on what is listed, but when they scan it, it won't pay the whole bill. Both times, it has left under $1 to be paid, despite there being enough money in there. Both times after that happened, the pay with the app function wouldn't work, and then all of a sudden, my account was drained to zero. So the money that I had loaded just disappeared.
This app has been awful. Lately, the app has very unclear processing screens. The last month or so we have been ordering food the way we always have, but when I went to add money to my account it added it twice and did not let me know that I had already added money and ordered our food. We have had double orders for the last month costing probably close to 100 dollars because the app is so unclear with what has or has not been done. We will just order our food in store to avoid this.
This app has gone from bad to the absolute worst! It used to allow me to place my order and then immediately charge my card, but when I would get to my Dunkin - usually within minutes - part of my order was always sold out. Then I have to fight for a refund. Now the app is no longer compatible with my phone. It won't even open, just basically says "too bad" in the app store. You win, Dunkin app! I've found somewhere else to get my mid-day caffeine fix!
First- The point system sucks with Dunkin. It takes forever to accumulate enough points for a free drink. It wasn't like this before! Second- You can't imagine how frustrating it is when you take the time to place an order, using points that you earned only to get to the store and be told they're out of something. They let you choose something else (I may not want anything else!!) they can refund you with cash but your points are gone forever!! Time to upgrade your app/system!
