Description
I’ve been using DUPR for a couple months now. It’s basically a pickleball rating app that lets you log your matches and see how your skills stack up against other players. Pretty solid if you’re into competitive pickleball.
Here’s how it works: you register and start logging your matches. Once you’re done, your opponent gets an email to verify the scores. Then your rating gets updated right away. There’s also a cool feature where you can browse other players’ profiles and see their ratings, match history, and approx location – great for finding people to play with.
Look, if you take your pickleball seriously and want an accurate rating, DUPR is worth checking out. It’s not perfect – the rating algorithm can be a bit confusing at first – but overall it does the job and makes it easy to track your progress.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on DUPR. I've tested a bunch of sports/fitness apps and this one's pretty solid overall. The match logging and rating system are the main draws - it's a big step up from just relying on your own sense of how good you are. The profiles and nearby player search are also super useful. But it does have its issues - the rating stuff can be a little complicated, and the free version has annoying ads. Still, if you want to step up your pickleball game and get an accurate, transparent rating, DUPR is a good option.
