Constantly Have Issues, can't use the app atm. It logged me out for an update and won't let me back in. No matter how many times you reinstall or restart your phone. Plus hate that you can't order ahead of time and always so buggy. This app bridged the issues I had at store somewhat but now it's just not worth the hassle. I won't be using again, especially after all the account breaches lately. People get in and charge your account for a gift card reload, then empty the card.

If the app opens but says your device is rooted: I Spoke with support and they confirmed that any device purchased straight from Samsung "unlocked" is considered rooted and will not work with their app. I know that must affect an awful lot of people. Give me a thumbs up so people see this.
Not a huge fan of the new update. While it does look a little cleaner, many locations are not offering "order ahead" so having 'order' as the middle button is pointless. Also, not being able to see the nutritional values in the app anymore is also very annoying (you have to click on view menu of the location, then get sent to download a pdf of all the drinks and scroll and search). Overall, not the best update.
I would give more stars if you could order online. The Dutch pass thing is cool, but I would love to be able to go through & see all the options to customize my order & just swing by to pick it up. It's crazy that, in this day & age, they don't have that feature. Lol. I absolutely love Dutch Bros. though. This is only my rating for the app. ALSO!!!! The app crashes like every other week: sometimes every week. It is so disappointing... I won't even go if it won't log me in bc I want the points!
the app is great, I would have given 5 stars but in my opinion, the options for order ahead are lacking. for instance I can't ask for the drink to be double cupped and there are not many options to choose from for extra flavors or toppings. it seems to me that all options should be available in the app that I could possibly order at the window. for instance I like a hot medium cinnamon chai tea with both the cinnamon flavor and the sprinkles, but I only have the option to add the sprinkles
I love the app, makes visiting easy. Not losing stamp cards is great! 8-30-24 - After much further evaluation, I have found that points disappear after so long. I don't go to Dutch Brothers often, and I love to use my points for a free drink on a rainy (sad or upsetting day) day. Sometimes I go there and I'm upset and I want to get myself my free drink and my points are gone. I really don't like this option, because if I have points there, I should be able to use them at any time.
I have been using the app since it first came out, and it used to be great. About 2 months ago the entire section of the "What's new" page (where you see deals and activate coupons) stopped working, and is blank. I no longer receive notifications of deals and specials, and even if I did get them, I wouldn't be able to activate and use them. I reached out to support, and despite following their instructions, it did not help. I was told to "wait for a future update to fix it." Still waiting...
The app works perfectly in almost every way. The only thing is that you don't have a choice to pay your full amount directly-- you have to preload it with amounts that always leave uneven change on your account. It sucks. I want to pay the exact amount, not 3 dollars more that rattles around awkwardly until next time.
EDIT: 2 weeks of nothing, this app is TRASH. still cant log in. 1 star. the app is great when it actually wants to work, but it seems like every time they update the app something breaks it and you can't log in. Tried logging in multiple times via text or email and it immediately kicks me out. Can't use my points or a gift card that was given to me. order ahead is also broken most times, your location will say "order ahead is available" but then the app bugs out saying it can't add your order.
It's incredibly annoying that every single time I open the app to use my balance or rewards it tries to get me to turn notifications on. I have them turned off for a reason. I will never turn them on for this app. I have no reason to ever see notifications. Stop asking. ETA: Since the unhelpful automated response, you actually made the app worse. Now there's no skip button on the notification screen. I guess it's time to start drinking Starbucks. 0 stars.
They've come a long way with this app. You can order ahead, pay with gift cards & debit cards, and even recharge gift cards. You're able to tell them what color and type of car you're in. The only qualms I have with it are not being able to save more than 1 payment method and having to "activate" certain rewards 'before' placing the order. If you're giving double points for ordering more than 2 drinks, it should automatically give me double points when I meet that requirement.
I have had this app for a month already and its okay. The only problem with it is that I can not use the Dutch pass to pay on the app. I got the app because I wanted to order ahead of time and customize drinks. If I would've known that I can't pay with the Dutch pass I would've just used my card that it won't let you save on the app. Very upset about not being able to pay with Dutch pass on the app and physically have to order at a location.
App is broken. More than a month ago, I emailed support about not being able to log in (App kicks me out as soon as I log in) provided my phone software info, screen recording, and was told that it was an issue they were aware of and in the process of fixing. Fast forward to updating the app today, no fix, same issue 🫠
specifically regarding mobile ordering, this leaves a lot to be desired. It's confusing and difficult to actually save something as a favorite. You should be able to do that from past orders. Come on. And the checkout process feels like it has 3 layers of confirmation. just let me reorder and it shouldn't take more than 3 or 4 clicks or I wont use the app to order ahead.
I removed the app last year, and decided to reinstall it. It took TEN MINUTES to get the code needed to finish signing up, I had to request the code twice and both times I was told the codes were invalid. That was a week ago. Tried installing the app again this morning, and the same thing happened. Two ten minute wait times for codes that were tagged as invalid. This app is not worth my time.
the app works great. the only thing I would like to suggest is, when you order at walk up or drive thru and you use you app and the Employee takes your order, to make it easier to add the drink, especially if you had added items to it that were specified. there are options in person ordering that aren't available when ordering through the app. like, 1/4 sweet. other than that, so far so good.
love the shop and the drinks but the app could use some adjustments. cant adjust any frozen drink with a different milk when ordering through the app, which looses the convenience behind ordering ahead. and even tho all drinks are customizable, its not through the app, so might as well go to the shop and wait in line to get what you want. somehow there needs to be a way to allow those adjustments.
Im giving it 2 stars because I've tried to order in the app at 2 different locations ahead of time and both times it was a problem processing the payment. I have money on the Dutch pass and tried several times to use that. Every time it was denied. The second location was just for a free drink but I was at least adding a tip and it still wouldn't process the payment. Don't know what's going on but not looking good for a first time customer
DON'T ADD MONEY TO THE DUTCH PASS. Added money to it, and over a week later, I can't use it to pay for ordering ahead, I get an error. Had to use Google Pay. The Dutch Pass only works at the store when they scan it. I contacted customer service, and they're figuring out the issue, but as of now, it's not working. The rest of the app is 0k, easy to use, and to the point.
Love the new mobile order option but PLEASE add a way to save debit card info. It's super annoying having to add the card again every time I order. Also, maybe add a "place order" button or something, it's a little confusing trying to navigate to the order screen. It's almost like the devs have never used another mobile order app cause it's missing some very basic features.
