Been using DynamicDrive for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps you monitor your driving behavior to become a safer driver. You earn savings on your car insurance by sharing data about how you drive – things like when you drive, if you use your phone, and how hard you brake.
Here’s what you do: you just let the app run in the background and it calculates a driving score based on all that stuff. And there’s also a map feature that tracks your trips so you can see how often and how far you’re driving. Pretty cool, right?
Look, if you want to save some money on your car insurance and get rewarded for driving safer, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the scoring can be a little confusing at first – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you’re with Allstate or any of their affiliated insurance brands.

So here's my honest take on DynamicDrive. I've tested a bunch of these driving monitoring apps and this one's actually pretty solid. The core features work well - the background tracking, the driving score, the trip history. Doesn't seem to drain my battery too much either. The main downside is that the scoring system can be a bit complicated to figure out at first. But once you get the hang of it, it's not bad. Definitely one of the better options out there if you're looking to save on car insurance by proving you're a safe driver.
