I love love love e.l.f. and the homepage shows all the great deals going on, but the app is glitchy. There are ways to score extra points, but most of them don't work. There was a promo going for icon level squad members to try on a product virtually, but it would not let me do it. I am unable to complete my beauty profile. On the last question, I can't select or submit my answers. At times the app doesn't show your discounts until after you pay so it's always fingers crossed.

Elf has been my go-to beauty brand ever since I started with make-up. Nothing beats the perks of beauty squad, combined with their reasonable price points and quality, cruelty-free products. This app keeps track of my favorites and makes shopping directly from elf even more fun! Their customer service is responsive, and top notch, too. Always quick to replace product or correct technical issues.

I've had problems with this app in the past, and it looks like they've changed some things. Unfortunately, one of those things being that I can't see sale prices while browsing/shopping? I'm not going to fill a cart in the hopes that pressing checkout will show me what I ACTUALLY owe. That's silly as hell.. I was hoping to take advantage of the summer sale but I can't see what anything is actually going to cost me. That's a big problem.

The app is sooo slow and takes so long to load one thing up. It's so hard to shop or even look around on this app. ☹️ *edit, "such instances are rare," do you guys even use your own app? Every time you open it or try to shop, you can barely do so. You'd think with this many bad reviews of the same thing, you'd fix it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

The app sucks. I made an account and ordered something, but then mysteriously got kicked out of my account session as soon as they took my money. I can't find my tracking info, login, or even use the app anymore. I can't even login through my computer, it says my account information is not correct even though I wrote down my password and double checked it before setting it. I want my money back.

Until about a week ago I would have given it 4 stars, is a little glitchy sometimes but at worse I close it out and reopen and I have no issues. But the past week or so it is completely unusable, I have spent the past 2 days just trying to sign in. I got in a few days ago but when I tried to write a product review it kept bouncing me out to the product page. I gave up and left without making a purchase, I didn't want to find out what kind of nightmare that would be

App does not work all the time. Everytime I want to delete an item from my shopping cart it takes over 5 minutes to do it. Makes it hard to buy items that are sold exclusively on the e.l.f website/app Everytime I try to look at pictures of an item app sends me to "try on" mode. Seems like this had been a problem for most people for the last 6 months. Please do an update, I love e.l.f products for decades.

I swear this is the last time I buy from the app. First time I got charged for an item that was never sent to me because it sold out. Never got a notice for a refund. Now second time my order goes through on pay pal and my order does not show up on the elf app. I'm getting charged for an order that does not exist...your app is so disappointing to use. Staying clear from using the app from now and your products.

Over all sucks! Won't tell me what item is no longer available, so I have to click on each one to find out. Won't take me to the item in my cart that I am trying to look at, instead it loads the normal page where that item can be found. I would have bought a lot of things if this app wasn't so janky! I however didn't see any adds. And it takes awhile to load the items and when it does it has to load the page again too. Uugghh

I love Elf but why TF is the app so slow? Takes 2 hours to place an order. From searching, adding to cart, hell even logging in takes forever. Is Elf still using dial up on their end or something? as a customer with no vehicle who relies on online shopping, else has lost quite a bit of business from me alone the past year because it's nearly impossible to even place an order. I've not been able to use my rewards points for my birthday or anything. I think some serious freebies are in order.

The app is frustrating to use. It doesn't seem to update and you're lucky if you have to put your phone down in the middle of putting items in your cart (they might not be there when you get back!). The desktop app is better, more user-friendly (but it still has its own set of issues). The app is useful for quick reorders or checking a status of your order, but you can just as easily sign up for text alerts.

Edited to add-- 10 months later and its still the worst app on my phone. --Literally the worst shopping app ever. Won't login to my account. I've tried countless times. Just keeps asking for my fingerprint, do that. Logs in for a half second then logs out again. Then the process starts over. Then it asks if I'm a human. Also the birthday reward still isn't working on the website, no idea if it works in the app, since I can't login.

Lemme start by saying I LOVE elf. I hate to have to make a review like this. Sometime this month, the app stopped allowing me to add anything to cart and I can't look at my cart either. I have done all of the troubleshooting I could do. I have even reached out via email asking for help with the app and heard nothing. Just buy whatever you need in store or use the web browser. Don't waste your time on the app.

I LOVE e.l.f. products. But for some reason this app takes for ever to load. I thought it was my phone at first, but its every time I open it, whether I use mobile data or wifi, if I have 1 bar or 5. I actually started logging in through my browser instead and it's easier and faster than using the app. I can't bring myself to give less than 3 stars because my love of their products, I REALLY hope the app gets updated soon!

I have been using it to make several purchases tonight. It has taken over 2 hours! 80% of the time is trying to adjust my cart. If I added 2 of the same items to the cart, but I only want 1, I have to put both into a wish list, go back to the item listing, add 1 to my cart. Ugh!! I can't seem to remove items from my cart, I can only wishlist them. At this point I am just wish listing 90% and waiting the full 2 minutes for it to decide if that is ok!

Disappointed in Matt Rife ad. The app is easy to order on. Could use some other improvements. Even though the app shows that you're logged in, it doesn't save certain things, like the Beauty Profile. A lot of links take you out of the app to a web page (ex: FAQ's, complaints, ads) and even if you manage to login on that web page it doesn't save to the app and it's not on your profile on the website when you log back in. The scanned receipts disappear.

I love the ELF Cosmetics app! The reward system is great, product colors match what's in my local store or online, and I like how it recommends products I'd probably enjoy. The games are fun, but only the top 5 players get points - with thousands competing, that feels unfair. Points for playtime would make it better!

I love this app! I check in regularly to earn points towards future orders and look for new products. I always get great deals & freebies. I feel like E.L.F. products are well known at this point, but I do appreciate that they are cruelty free and inclusive. I've used both skin care and make-up and love E.L.F. products. CONS: I've noticed BUGS when looking at my WISHLIST AND ORDERS, two important pages in the app. (I've never had problems with my actual orders.) I hope this is fixed soon!

I did not expect that this app would have so much content. it isn't just an app to purchase products, but it actually uses your input to make recommendations as well as other content and ways to earn points for free products. I'm not normally a person who would rate an app, but this one is way different than any I've experienced. download the app and catch all the opportunities it holds!!!
