So far this app has helped me so much. My grandbaby is the hospital, unfortunately I love more than a few hours away from her . So this is perfect. Not quite like being there with her but it's the next best thing . I've seen a few bad reviews about it , but for me I'm not having any issues at all . I am very thankful to being apart of it and to be apart of my grandbabys life . So it gets 5 stars from me .

It keeps you updated and I even got pictures of my son once he was in the recovery room. The only down side is that a day after his surgery it was still connected and I could resend invites. I was thinking it would go back to a home page after the surgery was completed but it didn't, so I had to delete the app.
I first used his app for my daughters surgery. Its fantastic you know everything that's happening once your child is in the OR. As a parent you will always worry weather it's a first surgery or 100th, but this helps easy the worry a little by providing information and your child's status every step of the way.
If I could give zero stars, I would. This is the second time I'm using this app to keep abreast of my sister's surgery. And this is the second time the app is utterly useless. The first surgery I got notified she was being taken back for prep. After that, no updates were received. This surgery, the ONLY notification I received was a welcome message. Useless app.
Needs updating. The app kicks you out when the medical team doesn't send consistent updates and doesn't take more than 2 or 3 days to do that. Can't ease your mind if its another thing to worry about.
We have twins in the NICU and loved being able to get updates when we weren't able to be there. However, the app will show that i have a notification and when i open the app, there is nothing there. Kinda frustrating...
Would never want to experience a loved one going through a surgery with out this app again. Makes you feel included every step of the way and some how is able to help put your mind at "ease" through such a nerve wracking time.
It was nice to feel connected a bit better with what was going on. Used the updates as screen shots & was able to forward them to others. Really like it. Gave me something to keep me occupied as well. Updates were great. Thank you for all you do, Deborah (a retired RN 😉)
No confirmation that app is working. The sign in process is easy enough but once you're connected it just says "Standby for updates". There is no indication of who you're standing by for updates about.
The app customer service was great. Answered right away. But, the app is only good if the hospital personnel update the progress, which the hospital did not in my experience. Left in the dark and no one updated it. Worth a try though, maybe your hospital will be better at updating the progress, but for me it was a waste of time.
This app is awesome! The only suggestion I have is maybe letting the people know when discharging will approximately be because my hospital relied on this app so much that they didn't call until I asked them to. They asked me if I was using the app and if so my ride was advised. Which is incorrect. My ride was only advised that I was in recovery which doesn't necessarily mean I'm ready to be discharged. I don't think that they should rely so heavily on this tool even though its amazing!
Useless! Never worked. Notifications would pop up hours late and then I click them and they never open. TBH it had me more worried that I was missing important updates! Thank God they still have the person that comes and gives you updates in person bc this app was completely useless!
CHKD suggested that we use it to get updates.but we never received one. May not have been the apps fault. Might not have been CHKD fault I don't know..other wise it seemed smooth to get patient registered. And add some one else to notified was smooth also. But we never received beside the Hello from the initial start
Tried putting in code and phone number but got Error message telling me my phone number and code were already in use. It was my initial sign in so how could it already be in use!? Now I'm unable to get updates and am a nervous wreck. Should have not came to work thinking this app would keep me updated and didn't have to go a day unpaid to be there.
Absolutely love this app. It really helped ease my mind when my baby boy was in the NICU. I always looked forward to seeing pics of my son in the early AM & late PM, when I'm unable to be with him. It also has a really neat feature where you can add other family members to be included in the updates, which makes everyone happy especially during COVID.
I love being able to get pictures and videos of my baby in NICU, but the app only works if you have people at the hospital taking time to send updates. Had an issue where we had to delete the app and re-download it to be able to receive updates after my baby had been transferred to a different hospital. Needs to be a way to re-register the same patient.
I downloaded the app using my phone number and code that they provided. It said that it was going to send a confirmation text, so I waited, and waited, and waited, but no text came after 30 minutes of waiting. So I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, thinking that would make it work, and now I can't sign up because my phone number and code have already been used. I now cannot receive any updates while my son is in surgery. This app is worthless.
Got this app installed and tested by the provider using my phone number. Days later during the event, I started up this app, kept it active and made sure my data stream was initiated. The messages were sent by the provider and therefore the details were what the provider gave. The timeline of events seemed unusual, but all in all this app worked as designed, and only as good as the provider. Provider called me and told me when to pick up the patient, which had nothing to do with this app.
Pretty much useless. The messages sent had no real information. I'm sure the staff wouldn't use the app to announce complications. Twice I received notifications, but was unable to see any messages. This was the worst bug. Adding family members was cumbersome. No way to interact with anyone. No obvious way to back out of the app. All in all it looks like an immature product.
