AVOID IF LOW INCOME OR NEURODIVERGENT budget friendly doesnt equal over a hundred dollars for 1 weeks worth of meals. that's just the meat btw. doesnt take into account location, or allow you to set a limit for meal costs. not to mention the subscription fee. this app wont help anyone who's low income or below the poverty line. my entire pay check would only cover 1 weeks worth of ingredients. This app wont help if you have texture issues btw it doesnt take into account mental health.
Reviews for Eatr・AI Healthy Meal Plan・Diet
← Back to Eatr・AI Healthy Meal Plan・DietTime to time app keep unable to show recipe details, after sign out and login back it will work again but after awhile same issue happened Today after the update it get worst, when sign in it keep going back to first sign up detail and not showing any preference on 'select your diet' option Due to that unable to proceed further
I really wanted to like this and I think it has a lot of potential but there are so many frustrating things about it that I don't know if I can see myself using it long term. There is no way to edit your meal plan once selected which I find very odd. The recipe search while planning only seems to show the same 12 recipes despite telling me there's 2000+ and I can't seem to favourite recipes. The heart goes red then blank again. The recipes I've found sound lovely though
Awful. I'll indicate my allergies and ask for a budget friendly meal plan, they'll give me a suggestion that I'm allergic to and is expensive. I also refuses to make me a grocery list from the meal plan(even after I've done my best to customize it) and then they won't give you a refund even though the app isn't doing the things it should be doing. Don't subscribe people, they just take your money.
I'm a subscriber. The diet plan ingredients of this app is very hard to find. All menus was like a restaurant style. Filters for example such as easy cook, vegetarian, low cost, basic cooking doesn't work. Also it only has very limited cooking recipes. The only thing that's useful is the scanner. Why don't you use A.i instead to generate countless recipies instead of the built in recipes?
I wouldn't use this again. It says it's AI powered, but Chat GPT makes better meal plans than this app. I said no dairy and more than half the recommended recipes were dairy filled. The selection of meals were pretty limited. I just wish I'd checked the refund terms better, cause all you can do is unsubscribe from future payments.
I paid for pro, this app is not fit for purpose the meal plan includes things I have excluded, I'm in the UK and most of the ingredients don't exist here. the meal plan is also just a load of snacks type things it is not a balanced meal. I put 2 ingredients into the what can I make for dinner section and it brings back no recipes. I have asked for a refund I have emailed you and thank you for your reply, I am currently following the procedure to get a refund
This app is scam. It drops meal plans after you buy the ingredients with no way to recover the recipes. some of the recipes make no sense, like pickle for breakfast....pickles! The other recipes were mid as best. After a couple of weeks of trying to tolerate the quirks, I ask for a refund. Play Store refused and devs said they couldn't refund it even though thisbis was Google says is supposed to happen. I can not advise you enough to avoid this app.
Missed the spot for me. This is more of a diet/weightloss app than a meal planner. They list "Cachapas" as a "carnivore" meal... How? Half an egg for an entire meal is hardly carnivore. Also, of all the diets, they dont include high protein (or family friendly), so if you are bulking (or a parent), this isnt the app for you. HOWEVER, I will applaude them for the ingredient exclusion feature. Im not a fan of quinoa and being able to exclude that is VERY nice.
want to cancel subscription, but between the app and Google Playstore, there is no place to go. I will have to dispute this now through my credit card. so frustrating that they can take your money, but offer no support. I believe I'm just getting the run around from them.
I paid for this but it doesn't worth. So i cancelled my subscription. It takes too long to calculate the meals that you log and it doesn't calculate the images that you scan at all. Also the meals are too hard to cook or sallads.. 😒 Doesn't worth.
Really good concept and app but it does need a few improvements. Once you confirm a meal plan, there is no way to edit it except to create a new one, which is tedious if you only want to swap a meal or two. The shopping list repeats ingredients items that are in more than one meal. I also still get meal recommendations with ingredients I don't like sometimes. Overall, I'm satisfied.
Downloaded this because I thought it was a great idea to take ingredients from your pantry to find recipes in the app. Well I was wrong. You type in ONE ingredient and it shows you the recipes. It would've been so much nicer to keep an "inventory" for your pantry and have recipes based on your inventory. Upon looking at the recipes, they ALL say "1 serving".... 650g of flour isn't "one serving". Some of the recipes also have instructions that use ingredients not in the ingredients list. useless.
Apparently the app just expects you to be a 5 star chef. 80% of all the meals are of foods I've never heard of before. I even marked that I have no experience cooking and need easy to make recipes. It also calls for ingredients that you definitely don't have on hand (or even know where to buy) and you'll only use them for the one meal. The app is basically just a giant waste of money.
Was kind of disappointed. first of all, it wanted me to select my diet type like vegan, paleo, ect.. and NONE of them matched me plus you really have to buy premium to get the most out of it and it let's u adjust the percentage of carbs, protein ect but at the same time, it doesn't because when I want to put the amount I want, it tells me that it has to add up to a 100%. So it restricts a lot of what my specific needs are. So it doesn't work for me. im a carnivorous which isn't even an option
Don't do it!! They took my money, and no free trial. I emailed them to see if they could help. They said it was Google's fault, and I checked my account. You can't dispute it on Google. I figured I might as well keep the app for a bit since they got me for $40. And, my account still says I'm not a pro...! And all the AI stuff is useless. My fitness app is way better..
YOUR APP SUCKS. The speed in which it loads a meal plan is criminal, to say the Least. Then the further you get into the meal plan prep the slower and more difficult the app becomes, until it closes and deletes all the meal plan prep you have done. It's the worst app I have ever used and that's saying something, you really, really, REALLY need to start over.
I paid for this app because I recently found out I was allergic/ sensitivies to over 11 different foods. I was excited to use this app to help me navigate food options. This app has absolutely been no help. EVERYTHING it suggests for meal options have ingredients I can't have. What the heck??? What a rip-off! I want my money back. Is there an option for ZERO stars?
Tons of Potential it works pretty well, I love being able to find new recipes and the logging of food is pretty easy. I do wish I could edit the calorie content after the fact, as sometimes the AI gets it wrong and I'm unable to make changes without deleting from the log. other suggestions would be to add weigh ins either weekly or daily, to track weight loss if the app wants to encroach on the noom market. the ability to provide a text input along with an image for ai recognition also
It's okay. There are better apps out there that do the same thing. Customer service was very helpful when I had an issue logging in. They promptly responded and made sure my issue was fixed. I like that it has recipes and that it helps you figure out how many calories you should consume based on activity level and weight goals, but the accuracy is questionable. There were many times when what the app said and what was on the nutrition label didn't match up in the slightest.
