Been using ecobee Wrap for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you control your ecobee thermostat and adds some extra features that the official app doesn’t have. Pretty solid if you’re into home automation and smart home stuff.

Here’s what you can do: you can set up geofencing to automatically change the thermostat when you leave or come home. And there’s also some cool widgets to quickly adjust the temperature and other settings. And you get some nice reporting features like daily, weekly, and monthly energy usage – that’s been really helpful.

Look, if you’re an ecobee user, you’ll probably get a lot of use out of this. It’s not perfect – the ads can be annoying if you don’t pay for the premium version. But overall it does the job and makes managing your thermostat a lot easier.

So here's my take on ecobee Wrap. I've tested a bunch of smart home apps and this one's pretty solid overall. The geofencing and widget features are really handy and I like the detailed reporting. It's not as full-featured as the official ecobee app, but it's a great complementary tool if you want some extra controls and insights. The free version works well, but the paid version removes ads and unlocks a few more reports, which is worth it if you use it a lot.
