Description
Been using the Eko: Digital Stethoscopes app for a couple months now. It’s basically a medical tool that lets you listen to heart and lung sounds on your phone. Pretty solid if you’re a healthcare provider looking for an easy way to monitor patients.
Here’s what you can do – there’s tools to flag any murmurs, irregular heartbeats, or other issues. You can also record and save the audio, build patient profiles, and even share PDF reports with other doctors. It’s got some cool features that make the physical exam workflow a lot smoother.
Look, if you work in healthcare and need a digital stethoscope, this is worth checking out. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a little clunky at times – but overall it does the job and is a big step up from the old school stethoscope.
Editor Opinion
I've tested a bunch of medical apps and Eko: Digital Stethoscopes is one of the better ones. It's packed with useful features that make it easier to monitor heart and lung health. The ability to record audio and build patient profiles is super handy. In my experience, the AI-powered diagnostics work pretty well too. The only downside is the interface can feel a bit dated, but it's not a dealbreaker. If you need a digital stethoscope, this is a solid option.
