So here's my honest take on Electrodoc Pro. I've tested a bunch of electronics tool apps and this one's right up there with the best of them. It's got a ton of functionality packed in, way more than I was expecting. The resistor and inductor color code calculators are super handy, and I especially like the Ohm's law and voltage divider tools. In my experience, it's a really comprehensive set of features for DIY electronics work. The only real downside is the interface can feel a bit dated and clunky at times. But overall, it's a super capable app that I'd recommend to anyone into electronics.

Pros

  • Tons of useful tools and references in one app
  • Resistor/inductor color codes, Ohm's law, and more
  • Feels quite comprehensive for electronics hobbyists
  • No ads in the Pro version, which is nice

Cons

  • Interface is a bit dated and not the most intuitive
  • Some features take a while to figure out
  • Might be overkill if you only need basic electronics calcs

Description

I’ve been using Electrodoc Pro for a couple months now. It’s basically a collection of all the electronics calculators and reference tools you could ever need – stuff like resistor color codes, Ohm’s law, LED resistor calculators, and a ton more. Pretty solid app if you’re into electronics and DIY projects.

Here’s what you can do: there’s a resistor color code lookup, an inductor color code tool, and even a voltage divider calculator. And it’s got a bunch of other features too like reactance/resonance, capacitor charge, and an op-amp calculator. Took me a while to figure some of them out but they’re all pretty useful.

Look, if you’re an electronics hobbyist or you just like to tinker, you’ll probably get a lot of use out of this. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need an all-in-one toolkit for your electronics projects.
