After I made the payment, the app has become very unstable. My learning sessions are constantly interrupted and I cannot study smoothly. This is very disappointing, especially after paying for the service. Please improve the app urgently. I paid for this, and I expect a better experience.
this is a good app, especially if you want to improve your pronunciation and fluency.. there 2 down sides.. one is the menu is so confusing, don't know which lesson to take first, for example grammar, vocab etc.. second, I can't reset my history lessons, I want to jump in after long time vacuum..
It's a great and effective tool in learning English at home, but it crashes all the time. It's frustrating that it crashes in the middle of the lesson or role-playing session, and I need to repeat from the beginning. Please fix this issue.
Pros: excellent organization, easy to use, vast and excellent content, helps identify and correct pronunciation mistakes. Cons: Elsa always finds pronunciation mistakes. That was frustrating until I used another AI to generate a perfect audio, then I asked a native speaker to answer for me. That's when I realized that for Elsa nobody can pronounce everything perfectly. It's still a very good app.
Upon starting the ELSA app, users choose a purpose like "Interview" or "Personal Growth." However, changing this selection later requires creating a new account, as there's no in-app option to switch. While the app offers various AI tutor accent choices (American, British, etc.), the pronunciation evaluation system consistently defaults to American English, meaning your speech is assessed against American English norms regardless of the accent you selected for the AI voice.
I'm shocked that I got charges over $158 out of nowhere! I didn't consent to that. I was just using the app, no trial. There were bugs also saying my prononciation was "excellent," but the score would show 43%. Now it tells me how I ran out of lessons that's fine but give me my money back. Like, I'm so confused by this.
The app works well overall, but there’s a major issue: the pronunciation practice and daily lessons don’t sync in real time across devices. My pronunciation progress only saves on one device, even though I’m logged into the same account on another. This makes learning less consistent and a bit frustrating even when I'm a premium user.
Awesome app! Worth a lifetime subscription, if you are not a native. I got one. Minus one star for inability to import a list of phrases. I literally spend an hour every other day to add my phrases one by one.
I'm having trouble with the app; it's been crashing a lot lately. "The server took too long to respond to the request". This isn't a fault with my network because I've tested it with three different Wi-Fi connections and one with mobile data, and the result is still the same. The application hangs and stops responding.
I am really frustrated to this app, I've subscribe the pro package, but the result is surprisingly disappointed. The app can't hear our voice clear that makes us repeat so many time. I've pronounced exactly like the narrator but stil rejected. It makes me angry and frustrated. I start to feel regret about the subscription. Please make some fixing to the app. The problem makes lazy for practice. So I hope you fix this ASAP. Thanks
