So here's my honest take on Engine RPM. I've tested a bunch of engine monitoring apps and this one's one of the better ones. The sound analysis seems pretty accurate, at least for my motorcycle. And it's not as polished as some other apps but it gets the job done. The history tracking and graphs are a nice touch. Only real downside is it can be a bit finnicky with certain engine setups. But if you want a simple way to check your RPM, this is a pretty good option.

Pros

  • Tons of strategic depth without being overwhelming
  • Graphics look great and run smooth on older phones
  • Free to play, don't need to spend money to enjoy it
  • Clan battles and multiplayer are really fun

Cons

  • Upgrades take forever at higher levels
  • Gets repetitive after a while
  • Ads can be annoying if you don't pay

Description

Been using Engine RPM for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that listens to your engine’s sound and tries to calculate the RPM. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do – just hold your phone near the engine and it’ll start measuring. There’s also a graph that shows the RPM over time, which is pretty cool. And you can save readings and check the history – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.

Look, if you’re into cars or motorcycles, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the accuracy can be off depending on the engine noise and it doesn’t work great for engines with mufflers. But overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want to geek out on your engine’s vitals.
