Description
I’ve been using Exit Strategy NYC for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that tells you which subway car to get on to be right by the exit when you reach your destination. Pretty solid if you’re a New Yorker or savvy visitor who’s tired of running to the front of the train.
Here’s how it works: you just open the app before you get on the subway and it’ll show you which car to board. And there’s also a countdown timer so you know exactly when to get ready. And you can save your favorite stations – that’s come in handy a bunch of times.
Look, if you ride the subway a lot, you’ll probably really like this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job and saves me time every day. Definitely worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Exit Strategy NYC. I've tested a bunch of transit apps and this one's pretty darn good. The core functionality works really well - I've found it to be accurate almost every time. The UI is clean and easy to use too. Only downside is the ads get old after a while, but paying a few bucks to remove them is worth it in my opinion. If you ride the subway regularly, this is a must-have.
