recently this app required some permissions which i dont like to give. then it started not to disply phone numbers and its name etc. if it continues, i am not hesitate to uninstall this app. we are at liberty to issue permissions for apps. no app compelled us.
Reviews for Eyecon Caller ID & Spam Block
← Back to Eyecon Caller ID & Spam BlockLove the app for its functionality. More specifically, I can send WhatsApp messages to any number without saving it to contacts and also after every call, proverbs are awesome !!!
I rated it 5 stars when it used to record conversations, so dropped the rating to 4 stars but recently the flow of ads bombardment lost its value so dropped the rating to 2 stars now. I hope the developer will at least get rid of the ads coming after the call ends. That's so irritating and links to some unknown web sites with an option to download it.
I have purchased the yearly subscription, and the amount has already been deducted from my bank. However, due to an internet issue during the process, the transaction did not complete, and my account is still showing no subscription. Please help, and could you provide the helpline contact details so I can share the receipt and evidence?
This app has become unusable due to excessive and intrusive ads. There are constant video ads and pop-ups that slow down my phone and make it freeze. Even worse, I have noticed auto-subscription to paid packages from ads, without my permission - this is a serious privacy violation. I cannot trust an app that performs actions on my phone without consent. I'm giving 0 star for this major breach of trust
It's amazing app and helpful to known unknown caller id but I have a simple problem. My problem is when the call ended I receive ads. Last day I receive a call I have emergency in my home and I call my friend but eyecon publish ads front of screen and waste my time. So please fix it.
Your application shows too many misleading advertisements. Because of these ads, accidental clicks happen, and unwanted packages get automatically subscribed without my permission. This is a very unfair and unethical practice that causes loss of money and creates frustration for users. I request Google to take strict action against such activities.
Eyecon is one of the most popular caller ID and dialer applications available for Android users. It is designed to give people more control over incoming calls, contacts, and phone usage. I have been using Eyecon recently, and in this review, I will share my experience, explain its features, and highlight the advantages and disadvantages of the app. The main function of Eyecon is to identify callers. Whenever an unknown number calls, the app automatically searches and shows the name, photo,
I am premium subscriber. My phone has crashed. I requested multiple times to you for recovery of my log or call history. I didn't received any reply so far. After reinstallation of mobile app system is not prompting for download call log history. I want to swtichover to other app.
since last 3 months the app has started showing different adds and without your consent it automatically get activated different value added service of cellular service provided.l as a result plenty of money being wasted. It seems the app is doing false activities. better to delete this app from your phone ,if yoy need to keep your money safe. what else they could be doing. who knows.
Assalamu Alaikum brother, before your article I used to run it a lot and it was very good to read without software, but now I am running your software and it is very annoying. Only advertisements come up. Only one guy comes up. I don't like it that much. It is very annoying to me. Your software now gives a lot of ads and advertisements. We are very annoyed with your software.

Was positive about this app, but now reading about automatic subscriptions. That has made me decide to delete the app. 1. Annual fee is a bit to high for what it is and therefore you have to deal with annoying ads. Making the ads less in your face would help (when somebody calls you I have to search for the details as the ads are as big as the details screen) or lower the price or make it one payment. 2. I miss the call recorder functionality, but for a good price I can miss it.
Dear Icon Calling Team, Your app is really good and useful, but I would like to suggest bringing back the Ad-free 24-hour free option that was available before. It was a great feature for users who couldn’t afford the paid plan. The new update has removed that option and added only the monthly paid one, which is difficult for many users. Please consider restoring the free 24-hour ad-free option again.
One of the worst app in this category. Aside that most contact pictures have nothing to do with the people they suppose to coincide with, it does not record conversations. Or if it does than it's well hidden enough that I can't locate the file where it is. I don't need another venue to keep my contact list or dial a call, but to record phone conversations.
It kept saying that my phone number could not be verified. I received no response from support. I was able to call and receive calls, but sometimes the calls would get cut off. I wanted to buy 2 plans since it is cheaper than Truecaller, but Truecaller has worked better for me. Update: After Eyecon replied here, I contacted them via email. Received a response, but not a working solution. I then sent them 4 screenshots illustrating the problem, and have not received a response in over a week.
I love it! I was a Truecaller fan for a long time but this app has won me over. It's only half the size, it's more intuitive, and the ads that come up are hugely less intrusive than other apps of this nature. The smaller size of the app makes it load more quickly. It runs a background service so that the Caller ID comes up quickly and accurately and I haven't noticed any impact on performance (and I'm using an old smartphone with low RAM and a bargain basement CPU). Thumbs up to the developers!
Most of the features are fine. However, I Had2 uninstall it bcuz of frustration. It keeps dropping calls. & I can't afford to lose appointments, bids etc. Which I have. A nice feature is after you pay a what I feel is a reasonable fee. When you use it to enter numbers that you want to save, when you press on the photo box, it scans the web for pictures and you get to choose which shot fit your own taste. & it has other features that were nice.
Too much to do to set it up. I paid for premium and this isn't a premium quality app. It lets calls through when it shouldn't, during do not disturb times as wells as callers not in my phone list. I want to be able to block, mark as spam and delete all at one time, not have to go back to the call for each step. I have tried reverse lookup repeatedly and it doesn't work. Costly lesson learned. I will only use apps that have a full-service try before you buy option from now on.
Terrible app: it takes over your whole phone. When you get a call, it takes up almost your entire screen showing the caller info, and even when you try to move the information away, it comes right back up. And then when the call ends it shows you the call info again as if you didn't see it in the first place. There are constant annoying notifications as well, and the app wants to take over dialing, texting and everything else. We were looking for caller ID, not an annoying app to bother us!
