So here's my honest take on EzDubs: Translate Video Calls. I've tested a bunch of translation apps and this one's pretty solid. The real-time call and text translation works way better than I expected. It's not 100% accurate, but it gets the job done and you can usually figure out what the other person is saying. The voice dubbing feature is also pretty cool - it makes it sound like you're actually speaking their language. In my experience, it's a great tool if you need to have quick conversations with people who don't speak your language. The only downside is it can be a bit finicky to set up at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy to use.

Pros

  • Translates calls and texts in real-time, no lag
  • Works for regular phone calls, not just in-app
  • Voice dubbing makes it sound like you're speaking their language
  • Free to use, no monthly subscription
  • Works surprisingly well, better than I expected

Cons

  • Translation accuracy isn't perfect, can be a bit wonky at times
  • Takes some tinkering to get it set up properly
  • Occasional connectivity issues if the other person has a bad signal

Description

I’ve been using EzDubs: Translate Video Calls for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you talk to people in different languages. So you can call someone who doesn’t speak your language, and the app will translate it for you in real-time. Pretty cool, right?

Here’s what you do: you just open the app, type in a phone number, and it’ll start translating your call as you talk. There’s also a text chat feature that instantly translates messages back and forth. And the best part is, the other person doesn’t even need the app – it works for regular phone calls too.

Look, if you travel a lot or work with people from other countries, you’ll probably find this super helpful. It’s not perfect – the translations can be a bit wonky sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need a quick way to communicate across languages.

Crashes my phone constantly. My phone freezes after a call. Screen locks, unlocks, turns off, turns on, touch unresponsive and then the phone eventually restarts. Same behavior on s24 ultra...

works very well. Calls are clear and you can actually hear the other caller speak, so that does make it more personable. the delay in translation is the only downside....
