So here's my honest take on EZVIZ. I've tested a bunch of security cam apps and this one's pretty solid overall. The live streaming and recording work well, and the night vision is a nice touch. The app is easy to use and the features are pretty comprehensive without being overly complicated. Doesn't quite have the polish of some premium apps, but for a free download it's a great option. Definitely worth trying if you want a simple way to monitor your home remotely.

Pros

  • Tons of useful features like live streaming, night vision, and two-way audio
  • Easy to set up and use, doesn't require much tech know-how
  • Free to download and use, no paywalls to access key features
  • Decent video quality and reliable performance
  • Lets you keep an eye on your place even when you're not there

Cons

  • Motion detection alerts can be a bit finicky at times
  • Doesn't have the most polished or intuitive interface
  • Occasional connection issues if your internet is spotty
  • Ads can get annoying if you don't pay for the premium version

Description

Been using EZVIZ for a couple months now. It’s basically a security camera app that lets you view live footage and recordings from your cameras. Pretty solid app if you’re into home security and smart home tech.

Here’s what you do: you can view the live stream from your cameras anytime, even when you’re not home. There’s also the ability to see in the dark with night vision, and you can playback recorded videos either from the cloud or an SD card. And the two-way audio is cool – you can talk to whoever’s on the other side.

Look, if you’re into security cameras and smart home stuff, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the motion detection alerts can be a bit finicky sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want an easy way to keep an eye on your place.
