No longer can I see who has liked my posts. No longer will my notifications link to my posts. no longer does my keyboard auto capitalize in this app. I have cleared the cache. clearing data is no longer an option. I've tried restarting the app. I've tried reinstalling the app. the app freezes and take forever to post or load without restart. this app doesn't hardly work.

after the last update, it became a trash app. if you search anything that “post, all, people” these individual options isn't available anymore. nothing can't be found easily because of this missing problem. can't even send any messages through lite. while reading or watching something important, this app gets a sudden refresh by its own. it's totally ridiculous. fix all these problems quickly or I'll report your lite app.
Before, FB Lite became my most useful app because I can still gain access from it even if I don't have data pack/load. But now? I can't even log in if my “free 30 MB” has ended for the day. It became inconvenient whenever I wanted to contact my friends or family when I am far away from them. Please, bring back the traditional basic free mode at least!
I gave one star because of a very annoying issue. While scrolling, random music suddenly starts playing, and I have no idea where it is coming from. Also, when I watch a video and stop it, the sound from the previous video keeps playing in the background even if I already move on to watch a different one. This makes the app very frustrating to use.
The latest update of Facebook Lite is very disappointing. Even though I still have mobile data, I can't watch videos anymore. It keeps showing "Buy a data pack to watch videos" — this never happened before! I used to prefer FB Lite over the regular Facebook app because it saved more data, but now it's the opposite. It's frustrating to think that I'm being forced to use more data or connect to Wi-Fi just to view simple videos. Please bring back the previous version where Lite actually meant light
When i go to 'Menu' & select 'Group' & after entering one of the group list & i want to go back to 'menu' by using the arrow symbol on the upper left side screen & I can't go back to the 'menu' & it's stuck there. It happens often & I had to use another method, which was to go straight out of FB via phone & Re-enter / log back facebook again normally. It's an annoying little problem.
The app completely ignores my preferences. Even after marking content as "Not Interested," it keeps showing up again after refresh. When I click on a post I don’t want, the app says “You hid a post. You will see less like it in the future” — but in reality, the feed stays full of the same type of content, and sometimes even shows me the exact same post I hid. The feed also feels random and unrelated to the pages I actually like and follow. Overall, the content feed is very bad and annoying.
I'm having a frustrating issue with the comment button on a post. I've tried everything to fix it! I've restarted my Wi-Fi, rebooted my phone, cleared the cache, and even uninstalled and reinstalled Facebook Lite, but nothing seems to work. I'm still unable to click the comment button. This bug is really eating into my time, and it's quite frustrating. Could someone please look into this and fix it?
The latest update of this app was particularly annoying, as it would appear every time I opened it. Even though I had data, it would always display the “BUY DATA” button. Back then, I preferred using this app, which helped me save data and avoid connecting to any other connection, just like WiFi. Please bring that back so that you can help us students save data
In the new update, there's no basic mode now...you must use data if you want to enter facebook lite which is disappointing because this is my go-to app if I have to chat my parents whenever my messenger is bugging and my Facebook won't work properly. This was also easy to use because it loads faster than Facebook, but now... honestly I am sad to have this new features where I can only access it using data mode. Please bring back the old Fb Lite where there's still Basic mode or Free data:
what is hping on with fb lite? I've had numerous issues with this app for some time now. it's loading other reels comments when I've moved onto a another reel. it just pops up randomly and then I have to do a back n button to remove it. when I'm downloading pictures to this app it won't complete the download on the app. I have to open it in Chrome. like I said this has been doing these things probably around a month.
I love this app; I use it often whenever I'm out because there's a free data option. Not only that, but there's a messenger here too, so I can check and chat with my parents. I just hope the translation gets fixed soon... it's not really working whenever I click the translation on a post or in the comments.
Lighter on the storage, and still has dark mode, but maybe you could add a button to share events straight to my Google calendar. I used to be able to, I think with the regular Facebook. Can't use gifs or certain animation. And doesn't have landscape view but phone can override it sometimes. UPDATE: Now I've been getting a white bar that takes up about a third of the screen (Z Fold 3 unfolded) occasionally. Maybe a fix in an update, you could enable "continue apps on cover screen"
I can't tell the difference between this and the normal FB app other than the look is a little bit different. I honestly don't know what is missing. The only things I don't like is that I can't move it from my phone's internal storage to the SD card and it doesn't stay a tiny app. It will eventually grow a little bit for "data" whatever that is. If I delete and reinstall it the data is gone but everything is the same. FB isn't the only app like that tho or the worst.
mostly ok, but features don't work as appropriate. When I click on my responses, if it's my original post, it won't do there, only if it's a comment on someone else's post. Makes it difficult to track responses accurately. I can be in the middle of posting/commenting and it suddenly bounces out of program. I will probably just uninstall it just use my desktop version.
I can't start typing a comment or post and then minimize the app and come back to it. it reverts to the home page and loses everything I was typing, even if I was on another page or looking at something in a group. It also does this if I lock the screen and set my phone down and come back. This makes the app completely unusable if you get interrupted. if you have a life outside of Facebook, use the regular app. If your device doesn't have enough resources for the full app, Meta hates you.
The notifications have gotten absurd. Everyday I get notifications about random stuff. Random content creators. which I never signed up for. over the past year, Everytime I get one of those notifications. I hit I don't want these notifications and report problems to the notification team. after a year this is still a regular problem. I'm pretty over it. I don't get these B's notifications from X or YouTube. Facebook used to be the example of social media, now it's a data hub.
when I watch short clips or reels, stop treating me like I'm a new user every time I watch them! I know how to swipe to see more content I understood that the first 150 times you told me. I am not stupid, the pop up is nothing but annoying and a bit intrusive. it's gotten to the point where I don't scroll out of spite. When I click on a link in Messenger that leads me to a Facebook post or a facebook Instagram reel, take me back to messenger when I press back instead of my feed, it's obnoxious!
Facebook lite used to be my go to app . It uses less data. There were other problems but I still could manage them . But it's not cool anymore. it seems to use more data now and I can't enter if I sub a data bundle after using my free mode for the day. Also i think those updates were unnecessary. I have lost up to ten accounts to suspension even if I didn't do anything . The suspension is & disabling is my main problem 😩, and to think I was managing the app...this is a big disrespect to users.
