Unfortunately this app doesn't seem to work. I downloaded this app for Android, so I could more easily track and edit my meals through Factor, instead of relying on their website, but it doesn't do anything. Every time I open the app it is a black screen or it shows the Eat Smart Factor_ logo and never loads anything else. Would love to use it, so hopefully they fix it

Great tasting food. Quality ingredients. The ONLY con is that there aren't enough vegetables or sides in a serving (LOL), but the meals are delicious, and they make life much easier. There's no way I could purchase all of the ingredients for these meals at the price. Factor has cut my grocery bills in half, and it saves me time and effort.

The Mobile app has glitches, you can make new selected meals from the pre-selected ones, only to go in a week later & see that the meals defaulted back to the pre-selected meals, only to get "there is nothing we can do, meals were already sent" & issue no refund or a partial, this has happened several times, I have informed them of these glitches and it appears to still be happening so will be forced to cancel, meals are good (at least ones I picked)are pricey but not paying for food I dont want

Honestly, Factor's meals are plain disgusting. Portion sizes are okay, but for 15.99 a meal I'd have expected something tastier. The pucks of chicken you receive are chewy and taste bland. Veggies and sauces are watery and flavorless. I've gotten sick after eating these meals more than once, a testament to poor shipping and handling as well as packaging. To top things off, the app opens properly maybe 30% of the time? You're better off purchasing frozen meals at your local grocery store.

Been looking at factor for awhile. decided to try it and it was a letdown. 50% off opening off not terrible priced but without the 50% off you are paying $10-12 for a microwave dinner. They give you a menu of meals to order but don't send what you order. I ordered the 14 count and ordered 14 different meals. They sent me 4 of the same meal for two of the meals, and 3 of the same meal for the other two. Basically just the same meals over and over. overpriced, they don't send what you order.

The food is pretty good, not amazing, i always need to add some seasoning, but that's ok. More beef options needed, snacks & desserts are just 'eh'. I'm not fond of the reusable ice packs. The fact you can't just empty & throw them in the blue bin is incredibly annoying, I'm certainly not keeping the majority & reusing them. Dry ice wrapped in hassle free recyclable material does exist. Their plastic insulation material is unnecessary as well, I've seen them use paper ones that work great.

packages show up on the wrong day completely melted, and i was unable to safely eat multiple of my hand-picked meals. later, I was double charged, disputed the extra charge all good, right? nope, the one I did pay for never showed. and I went to the app to cancel the app and logged me out twice in a row. then I filed a stop payment through my bank, and before the review process was complete, another $100.00 charge came out 3 within 10 days and not a single delivery. so many problems I can't fit!

it's really nice having dinner automated. my husband is vegetarian and says his meals are noticeably smaller than mine. it's good for dinner though because we're trying not to have heavy meals before bed. My only complaint is that I wish the actual meal packaging was more sustainable. but the meals themselves are pretty tasty. feature request: ability to filter via specific protein. i.e. chicken, salmon, pork, beef. (the list of All meals is kinda long. guess that's a good problem lol)

Great food, seems like a high price for the per box rate but it ACTUALLY is way cheaper than eating out, single dad don't cook for myself and spend hella money on takeout. this is actually a great way to save money, even though a lot of the meals come with green beans they are delicious so are the carrots I actually haven't had a meal that I didn't thoroughly enjoy. and I'm not sure what the problem was but my box didn't come one week and they credited me a whole free box. highly recommend Factor!

haven't tried the food yet. my first order will arrive October 6 2025. However so far I have to say the website is terribly slow and clunky. My only other criticism would be that it's subscription based. Sure I'll try it out but I don't want to sign up for a subscription to food I may or may not like. I understand why there is a subscription but that should be optional. Hopefully the food will be so good I'll want to subscribe but I don't want it forced on me. it's kinda a turn off.

makes meal planning and packing my lunch for shift work so easy. The food is delicious. The delivery needs improvement. I'm being forced to pay $11 for shipping, and it looks like they throw it out the back of a truck without stopping when I open the box up. the gel ice packs are always busted and all over everything, and at least 1 of the meals is broken every single delivery. I've been skipping deliveries looking for another meal service that's as good.

Factor meals are delicious & healthy. That's why I keep the service up. The price is at the very top of my desired range, so I'll only pick it up every so often. Portions could be larger, especially for the price. I'm summer I just skipped all meals as one delivered late and completely thawed, which was not acceptable. only a credit toward a future purchase was given. not sure when that will kick in.

Beware! Food is good, but app is buggy, & company practices are shady. The quality doesn't justify the "full price," & they know this, so they use sleazy tactics: Gift cards are treated like credits. Credits are also given for signing others up. But, they do a promotion/reward system too. You can't use credits while a promo is active. There is ALWAYS an active promo. They held nearly $100 in credits hostage until I had Support remove the 10% promo. Really disappointed. It initially seemed great

This review is 2 parts- 1st is the mobile app itself: this app is ATROCIOUS.it's extremely slow and laggy no matter what you're doing, whether using the menu section or chatting with a cust service rep, it has a massive delay and crashes repeatedly. When you make changes to your order for the week, it doesn't always save those changes because it crashes. 2nd part is the food itself, the meals are no better than the $4 microwave dishes from Target/Walmart, but 3 or 4x the price.

Honestly, the portions are way too small, the flavors are basic, everything is way overpriced, and I swear the automatic pre select just grabs the meals they know I hate the most. Requires constant supervision to maintain orders with meals I'll actually eat. Doesn't learn from habits either. And there's no filter for ingredient allergies. Good luck lactose intolerants. But at least you don't have to cook everything yourself like with Hello Fresh.

Factor is a actually working out to be above my expectations in a meal delivery service. The food is exactly as it is described, the app is easy to use, and the food delivery is always on time, packed nicely and orders are correct. I have found that it fits my needs perfectly and I'm eating much healthier. Lots of variety in meals, that are fulfilling and tasty.

******Why doesn't the app work?******* The app is so inconsistent sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. I have to use a web browser to make my orders. The food is good, however the chicken recipes tend to have dry chicken. I really enjoy the free gifts. That pre botic soda was amazing. I'll continue my service based on the food but please fix your app. thanks

Well, that's disappointing. With the update, I can no longer get in the app - I can't get beyond the black screen with the factor logo. Before, it was ok, although frankly too busy and missing obvious functionality like having a counter for how many meals you've selected. The quality of the food has gone away down from when I used it a few years ago, with the vegetables having zero flavor even if not listed as streamed. You basically get a choice of green beans, broccoli, or zucchini for veg.

I can't open the app. I've unistalled & reinstalled 4 times. I must use my PC to edit meals. I like the food & company, but I'm not sure how long I'll stay b/c of this. If I eat something I love or don't like & want to change my upcoming order I can't get into the app, it's not convenient. Update: After reading reviews I think I'll cancel. The amount of money I'm paying wkly for this (over $100) makes me uncomfortable with the company when they cant work out the app issue for over half a yr.

The food is pretty good, just a few small problems that add up. Most of the time, im very happy with the meals. However, there's no way to request a certain meat (besides pork) be left off the menu. I do not like fish, and the app keeps filling mu menu with fish, which luckily I haven't forgotten to change... yet. the chicken is also very hit or miss. sometimes amazing, other times overly chewy or fatty and gristle-y.
