This app is great! I haven't had any issues and I'm able to track all of my animals with ease. I highly recommend Fahlo and this app allows you to track the animals you're helping. In addition to showing where the animals are, it also shows the animal's story, how much they've been moving, how fast they move, and even their status, as in if they are vulnerable or endangered. It also tells you how often you might see movement and other tracking information, and more! Highly recommend!

Sub par experience.. tracking is fantastic. But I wish that I could view my shopping cart. Especially when deals come along. Most deals aren't offered on the website and are app only. It would be nice to click on an offer and actually have the app work for shopping. Hopefully they fix it and I don't just get a "contact customer support".. that never helps..

I love the concept overall. But when I zoom in to see the location of my animals, the map gets pretty blurry, and there is no 3D terrain that everyone keeps talking about. Or the ability to tilt the view with 2 fingers that I've seen. I have the most recent update also. If there was any way possible to have the map match the live current weather, that would be cool.

I thought this would be a fun app to track Pistachio, the sloth i was given when I bought a bracelet at an aquarium--except I mostly get notifications to buy more bracelets. I'd let that go, but there is no way to turn those ads off without also turning off notifications about Pistachio. So, off they all go until this changes. Disappointing and annoying, for sure.

Update: The Fahlo app team worked diligently to correct the glitch. They had the app working correctly within 48 hours from when I first reported the issue to them. Thank you!!! The most recent update (4/7/2025 update) is causing a glitch. To see any of the distance/ speed data, I have to go out of the individual animal and then back in for the fields to populate with numbers other than zeros.

I like the app and the causes it supports but the app hits me with an ad notification every day. I cannot opt out of this, or get notifications for just tracker movements. No granular notification controls at all. I only want to be told when the animal moves, that's it, I do not want to be hit with ad notifications, attention disruptions are a very big deal for me. If they ever fix this it'll go to 5 stars.

My favorite thing is reading each animal's story and seeing their picture, which brings me to my main complaint. If you don't have a card with the information, it's lost forever. You have to screenshot everything if you want to keep it... would a digital version of the card on the app be too much to hope for? One that you can keep in the collection section even when you lose the tracking?

Used to love the app because i was able to follow an animal's journey. But about 2 months ago, I stopped getting notifications. I ignored it and just thought the tracker was being slow and waited a while. Checked again today and got a message that told me it stopped tracking, and I need to make a purchase in order to get a new animal. I've seen other people being notified that they got a new tracker for free when their animal's signal was lost. How can I get a new giraffe to track?

I was very excited after I bought a bracelet from the Georgia Aquarium to track a whale shark. Though this app is a very noble idea, in practice it is bugged and frustrating. It consistently logs me out and gives me errors, sometimes making me panic when it says my account doesn't exist. Overall, it needs better programming.

I love it, the only problems I had were with the freebies. It offered me a freebie and I tried using it, but then when I clicked add to cart like I thought to do, it. said I already have my freebie and it wouldn't let me get it. so either I'm just stupid and can't figure it out or something is wrong with my stuff. but overall great purchase and worth every penny

Very disappointed lately. I bought a bracelet to track a whale shark (Josie) on May 23rd, and I'd been getting alerts every day! Just now I got a notification that she traveled somewhere new, and when I opened the app, it said her tracker was no longer sending signals. While it did give me a new whale shark to track (Raja), this is happening way too frequently. I had been tracking 5 sharks and 2 elephants, and they're all gone now; I wasn't offered new animals for any of them. Quite disappointed

1st let me say, I enjoy tracking the animals. more updates/picture of the animals you're tracking would be nice. sometimes the distance the animals move show 00's. sometimes the App doesn't to load, "app not responding, close app or wait" if you tap wait, eventually it comes up. You can uninstall and reload the app, it does the same thing. Shipping times are longer than they say. 2-3 day shipping, takes anywhere from 5- 10 days. Tracking the animals is fun.

I love my bracelet! I check on my whale buddy daily. I wish the tracker lasted longer than a year, but so far, my animal friends trackers die after a year every time. I would love to be able to share the location of my whale friend to my other friends with trackers. we just take a screenshot and send it to each other but an in app share would be a cool feature. I have been getting whales but its time for me to try other animals! maybe a shark next.

I was gifted a dolphin for Christmas 2 yrs ago. I have since bought 12 for my family. It is such a cool concept, and I really liked it. I work in front facing customer service,and it is a great conversation starter, I keep getting notifications for buy 2 get 1 free, and have tried to take advantage of this, but it just keeps adding to my cart, but will not let me check out. It is beyond frustrating, and I honestly never mind paying full price, but why offer discounts if you can't honor them.

It's such a cool idea, and I love receiving the notifications of when my animals change location. The only things I wish it could have would be real-time snapshots of them at the new locations. Also, highlights of interesting facts about each animals path, like with the turtles that once they mate, they return back to the place where they hatched and I can see that my turtle's is heading back to her "home". The current "Updates" tab doesn't have much info or is too cluttered to show kids, too.

I've gotten three Fahlo lion bracelets from the Blank Park Zoo, and while the app is a cool way to track animals, I'm pretty bummed out. I ended up with the same lion, Nadala, three times in a row! It's a great idea, but I was really hoping to track different animals with each one. I've heard customer support can help, and I'd love it if you could send me some different ones to track. It would make a big difference in my experience with Fahlo. Cheers and thanks!

This app is a mess. Every few days it will randomly say we aren't tracking any animals (we are tracking 4 of them) and nothing fixes it. Even if we click on the notification saying our animals traveled somewhere, it still says we aren't tracking any animals. Then, every now and then it will just log us out completely without any reason. When we go to sign back in, we are stuck on the loading screen for up to 15 minutes. Nothing about this is fun or convenient.

Hardly an experience unless you pay more money. I have 3 bracelets (all purchased in July or August of this year and only 1 animal is left for me to track thats original. All Fahlo does is encourage you to buy another $20 bracelet. The penguin I had didn't even last a whole month, the whale shark almost lasted 2 months but after a while, I was able to track a new one?? But no penguin. .Very disappointed.

They used to give you a free animal when you're animal passed away, or the tracker stopped tracking. I no longer get the option to get a new animal to track, and quite frankly that is just bad business... I have spent more money than I honestly should, for two bracelets. I am now only tracking, one animal. I think you should go back to the old method where, if your animal stopped tracking, you can get a free animal to track. The new method just makes me not want to purchase any more products.

I like this app but the amount of times I've "won a free bracelet" only to have the app unable to redeem it for me has actually hurt my mental health, when I originally got this to boost it. I'm considering uninstalling. Everytime I get the notification I get so excited only to be super sad once I get there and the app stops working. Don't get my hopes up if you're not actually going to follow through. Update 2025: it's still happening, I'm uninstalling.
