This app is great! I haven't had any issues and I'm able to track all of my animals with ease. I highly recommend Fahlo and this app allows you to track the animals you're helping. In addition to showing where the animals are, it also shows the animal's story, how much they've been moving, how fast they move, and even their status, as in if they are vulnerable or endangered. It also tells you how often you might see movement and other tracking information, and more! Highly recommend!

Sub par experience.. tracking is fantastic. But I wish that I could view my shopping cart. Especially when deals come along. Most deals aren't offered on the website and are app only. It would be nice to click on an offer and actually have the app work for shopping. Hopefully they fix it and I don't just get a "contact customer support".. that never helps..

I love the concept overall. But when I zoom in to see the location of my animals, the map gets pretty blurry, and there is no 3D terrain that everyone keeps talking about. Or the ability to tilt the view with 2 fingers that I've seen. I have the most recent update also. If there was any way possible to have the map match the live current weather, that would be cool.

I thought this would be a fun app to track Pistachio, the sloth i was given when I bought a bracelet at an aquarium--except I mostly get notifications to buy more bracelets. I'd let that go, but there is no way to turn those ads off without also turning off notifications about Pistachio. So, off they all go until this changes. Disappointing and annoying, for sure.

Update: The Fahlo app team worked diligently to correct the glitch. They had the app working correctly within 48 hours from when I first reported the issue to them. Thank you!!! The most recent update (4/7/2025 update) is causing a glitch. To see any of the distance/ speed data, I have to go out of the individual animal and then back in for the fields to populate with numbers other than zeros.

I like the app and the causes it supports but the app hits me with an ad notification every day. I cannot opt out of this, or get notifications for just tracker movements. No granular notification controls at all. I only want to be told when the animal moves, that's it, I do not want to be hit with ad notifications, attention disruptions are a very big deal for me. If they ever fix this it'll go to 5 stars.

My favorite thing is reading each animal's story and seeing their picture, which brings me to my main complaint. If you don't have a card with the information, it's lost forever. You have to screenshot everything if you want to keep it... would a digital version of the card on the app be too much to hope for? One that you can keep in the collection section even when you lose the tracking?

Used to love the app because i was able to follow an animal's journey. But about 2 months ago, I stopped getting notifications. I ignored it and just thought the tracker was being slow and waited a while. Checked again today and got a message that told me it stopped tracking, and I need to make a purchase in order to get a new animal. I've seen other people being notified that they got a new tracker for free when their animal's signal was lost. How can I get a new giraffe to track?

I was very excited after I bought a bracelet from the Georgia Aquarium to track a whale shark. Though this app is a very noble idea, in practice it is bugged and frustrating. It consistently logs me out and gives me errors, sometimes making me panic when it says my account doesn't exist. Overall, it needs better programming.

I love it, the only problems I had were with the freebies. It offered me a freebie and I tried using it, but then when I clicked add to cart like I thought to do, it. said I already have my freebie and it wouldn't let me get it. so either I'm just stupid and can't figure it out or something is wrong with my stuff. but overall great purchase and worth every penny
