Reviews for FaithFi: Faith & Finance

I put the app on my phone and then couldn't even get past signing up because it kept telling me my email address was invalid. So very frustrated, so I just took it back off my phone. Disappointing after hearing the radio program that promoted it.

Credit Karma was the app when this review "More confusing than True Bill, which I don't use either because it's confusing!!! I am going to stick with Mint!" was written! Up one star in case there's an improvement in more than name and logo "FaithFi: Faith & Finance

I think this app is great for budgeting. The app uses an envelope budgeting system that is easy to setup and use. I also like that you can favorite envelopes and view them on the home screen. The app can also to connect accounts is pretty cool feature for managing a budget.

I just started using the app and it's easy to set up and I love the totaling features, at a glance I can see my assets and debits, this is going to make keeping up with the bills a breeze, thank you Father in heaven☝️ for Money wise, I would still be in debt and doing bills the hard way if it weren't for my wonderful brothers and sisters at Crown and their new app, thank you all. May you receive all the blessings God has for you, Amen 🙏

These kinds of apps prey on the faithful by making religion part of their brand and then seeming more trustworthy. Faith has nothing to do with envelope budgeting, investing, etc. I won't be surprised if the user contacts are being sold to all kinds of scams. The app itself is also very buggy and honestly is harder to manage than just setting up a few debit or prepaid cards and using them as envelopes. Or set up a savings account that also pays interest, you can give interest to charity.

The app has no value. none . I am paying 3.99 for Nothing.

It is a bit too complicated to be practical, requiring quite a bit of learning if you haven't used an envelope method before. It also doesn't connect all your accounts. I've had it for months and haven't been able to figure out how to best use it.

Wonderful envelope budget app only two things I would add are a calculator feature so I don't have to go searching my phone, and a calendar, for people who pay different bills at different pay periods. Love the forum feature and the articles too. God bless!!

Very useful at a high level. Things that would be helpful to add are specific planning activities per account and allowing the user to define additional spend or income categories. I will be unsubscribing as the monthly fee just doesn't provide the value that I was seeking.

This is the hardest app to use. It's not intuitive and it doesn't make sense. I miss the old fashioned paper forms that made sense. And there are no love humans to help. Don't bother with this app. Maybe in time they'll fix it but not likely. Also while there are free parts, ost of it has a charge and when trying to get outta debt and I to a budget throwing money at an App is so not what I need right now.

I would like to continue using this app, but unfortunately it cannot connect to my credit union. I would have to enter everything manually. I do appreciate the faith and finance podcasts. I want to continue budgeting and will be using the every dollar app instead. I do like the different options on the faithfi app, but am used to the zero dollar method.

yes very good! I would recommend this app! sound instructions from the word of God. thank you

I just downloaded to try this. I love the categories. A star short of a 5 because the app I am currently using allows me to add categories free of charge. I do understand that you are a non profit but because I am getting back on track, it's not a fee I would be able to take on. Love the Live, Give, Owe. Thanks for the wisdom of God that you all use on the show!

This is the most extensive free financial app I've come across. Thank you MW!! It makes no sense to me, why apps meant to help you stop overspending "REQUIRE" you to add them as another monthly expense 😕! With MW I can manually create a helpful budget that works for me. Then, as my financial picture improves, I can choose to opt into their more convenient features. Most budgeting apps' free versions are too inadequate to be helpful, or have completely overwhelming ads! MW has done it right! ❤

Great app, it has been very helpful for me. Simple, practical features accomplish everything you need to get on a good budget and stick to it. The account linking through Plaid is a little frustrating, however, because it consistently runs 1,2 or even 3 days behind on transactions updates. Pending transactions that post to bank account do not register with the app even though the debited account balance does. Makes it difficult to use it in real time, it's more of a big picture guide.

it is too hard to learn, and the instructions don't explain why you should do certain things for people who are beginners at finance. it is not user friendly.

The features focus on envelope based budgeting and do it well, which I love. However there are sometimes long periods where the connection I pay for to my credit union doesn't work and the answer is about a 3rd party provider. The bigger deal for me is that the app keeps crashing on my Android phone even after following all the instructions. The only thing I have found to help is to uninstall and reinstall.

Update: I hate this app.... but I haven't heard better about others. Takes over 30 seconds, 8 taps and some typing to log 1 transaction. Super annoying. It's hard to figure out even after a year of using it. They did an update that added stuff that could have waited and they could have figured out how to log a transactions with 3 or less screen taps. I want to love this bc I love logging/data entry and tracking stuff but I hate this app. I use and pay for it bc nothing measures up to Mvelopes.

I used the EveryDollar app for several years. I tried the Faith Fi app out recently. Faith Fi App takes longer to learn & the layout is not as simple, but Faith Fi is more capable and does more of what I need it to. So, for me, Faith Fi is a much better option.

refused to accept and imput amount for an envelope app some reason slated for deep sleep I thought I used it often enough even though I'm fairly new to it love that it's Biblically based fun to use just updated finances don't like the fact no calculator the ones on phone don't work not quite accurate in amounts ever since I uploaded mutual funds finances doesn't seem to keep mutual separate from checking
