Been using Falling Fruit for a couple months now. It’s basically a global map of edible plants, fruits, and other wild foods you can forage. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you do: you can browse the map, see what’s around your area, and even add your own finds. There’s also a community aspect where you can connect with other foragers. And the app keeps track of all the different plants – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.
Look, if you’re into foraging or just exploring your local edible plants, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the map can be a bit buggy sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.

So here's my honest take on Falling Fruit. I've tested a bunch of foraging and outdoor apps, and this one's pretty solid. The global map is super comprehensive, with thousands of different plants catalogued. In my experience, the info is generally accurate and up-to-date. But it can get a bit overwhelming at times - there's just so much data. And the app itself is a little clunky, could use some UI improvements. Overall though, it's a great resource for foragers and plant nerds.

The app is definitely more mobile-friendly than the website, selecting makers is much easier! The app is very basic, though, and would be a lot better with some additional features....
Excellent work it's a good start I'll be adding locations as I find them. I can't seem to get focus in the tell us more section below. I know this...
