Reviews for Fallout Pip-Boy SE Watch Face

← Back to Fallout Pip-Boy SE Watch Face

FINALLY!!! I was waiting for a watch face like this to come out for newer watches since the one I had for my Samsung Gear s3 Frontier doesn't work on my Samsung Watch 5 Titanium,so far it's working great,I think for some people who have trouble installing it need to download the app it needs so IT CAN be installed, otherwise wait a few seconds and it'll appear in your list...

Pixel Watch 1 user - I love it. I think it could benefit from more colors and complications, but I've really enjoyed using it as one of my main watch faces. As far as battery usage, I haven't noticed a change from any basic face (AOD off). It slows down watch startup because the face has to load and that isn't a problem for me.

[Samsung Watch 6 Classic] I tested both the Pip-Boy in the Facer app and this SE version, and I gotta say, both are great and work flawlessly on my watch. I would give this SE version a 5-star review, but I had to give it 4 because I really loved the multiple tabs option that the Facer version offered (even had sound effects of switching tabs from the game). However, this version is simpler and offers multiple frames, which I appreciate more. If only the SE version had multiple tabs too...

It's actually not bad, and it works fine on the pixel watch. I'm also confused about other reviews. When I installed, I just go to the Google watch app and add it to my watch like any other face. I can pick two complications, and border colour. It doesn't say fallout anywhere on the watch face like some other reviews say. I've not noticed any battery drain, any glitches, and any slowing down. It also doesn't take me to the facer website like some other people reviewing.

Works fine on the Galaxy watch ultra. I did have issues installing it and it appeared it wanted me to purchase a second time but eventually worked. Only reason I can't give it 5 stars is theres am issue with the AOD. With AOD on when you look at the watch and AOD turns off the thumbs up animation over laps the walking animation. You don't get this with AOD off so definitely an AOD issue. If developers fix I would gladly change rate to 5...update to a 5 due to the animation glitch is fixed

Cool face for a low price. You need to select it through your WEAR app. It only gives you the "refund" option if you do it from your watch (Samsung galaxy 6) -- 4 cool colors, two complications, and good animation. Simple and clean.

Compared to the original Facer version, which though fun due to the multiple screens, this one is superior for me -- simply because the face complication, which I have set for weather (where the original was on the last screen). I also like the frame option for Fo3 and the ability to switch between the color choices in Fo3/NV/4. For those having Battery Drain issues, try turning off your Location option. Since it isn't used on this face. Most Samsung watches have it in the drop down menu toggle.

Watch face works well enough for me. The only real complaint I have is when I set one on my complications to the weather, instead of showing the temp outside it says my city. I can click it to get weather info but I would much prefer it to show the temp like most other faces.

For those of us who are having trouble applying the watch face, just go to your face menu. Press the '+' and scroll down, it will be in the downloaded tab. I wish there were more color options, but, otherwise this is a pretty sweet face. The customization is otherwise nice. The ability to remove the fallout label is great.

I was so excited to get this one, an i really like it either than only having 3 apps/things to change ..... but damn the battery DRAAAAAINS! I used to be able to charge after 1.5 days, maybe A day..? I literally took it off charger and turned it on at 715pm. It's now 1025 pm and I've gotten a low battery warning. I haven't even used/looked at it once. I noticed it was dead yesterday and I thought it was weird, iknew I charged it but thought I must have been wrong since its dead. Nope.

Difficult to get started. After my initial purchase, the watch face didn't come up as an available face on the watch. Tapping on "install on watch" only kept offering me a Refund button, which I ended up doing because I was getting nowhere. I ended up purchasing the watch face a 2nd time, this time from my phone not from the watch. Same thing, I couldn't find the face when long pressing on the current face. Turns out after the install, you should go into the Wearable app & look for it there.

Caught my attention at first sight, it installs and runs fine although a common theme I've been seeing like this face is the incompatibility warning prompts that appear post install and set, still haven't got to the bottom of why the faces designed to run on much older wearos versions give this warning, still they deff drain the battery as the warning states. Well it works so I'll make do till I work out why I keep bumping into this warning on faces I've been trying?

Love it but after the latest software updates it's draining my watch battery fast. Like in a few hours. Plus it's causing my watch to heat up to the point it becomes uncomfortable. Updated every app but it turns it was this watch face causing the issues.

This is a great looking watch face, but there is more to be desired. I wish it had the ability to set everything white. With the PW2 the AOD dimming is far too dim. I feel like adding the white would solve everything being a touch too dark.

Excellent watch face. I have the Galaxy Watch 6 44mm. There were a few times when the Vault Boy did not show on the always-on display. The information shown is perfect. I love the power bar the most. Some cool additions would be to make Vault Boy look sleepy if you're still awake after your set sleeping time. Mine is set for 22:00-05:00. Another idea would be a stressed animation when your stress levels are above a certain threshold.

Works really well, it's well designed and does not drain battery that much. My watch heated up a bit on first launch, but cooled down after. AOD works nice. Installation was easy, bought on phone and installed on the watch, and set the face through the wearable app. I'm using it on a GWatch4.

Great watch face just wish there were more complications, colors and backgrounds. Maybe you can add an option that as your battery depletes his health gets worse. Definitely my favorite of the available pipboy faces for the galaxy watch ultimate. You get 4 colors (green yellow red and blue). You get 3 backgrounds, (2 pipboy styled and one alternate) And 2 complications that appear on the top.

Needlessly complicated installation experience. I think I wound up paying for it twice through both the Android and Watch store. Seeing other reviews saying refund inquiries are pointless, I guess I'll have to eat the cost. It's a fun design but more complicated than it needs to be, and it'd be better if it didn't say "Fallout" at the bottom so it would feel more immersive. It's also been a huge drain of battery life on my Galaxy Watch 4, so I'm going to have to uninstall in the end.

Awesome! I wish you could customize it exactly how you wanted it other then the background color and 2 additional add ons. May be a little much for asking but it would be cool if there could be a little achievement sort of like the game when let's say you meet your walking goal or your extremely tired and vault boy shows an animation of said action(s). Other then that, I get a lot of compliments surprisingly!

ALMOST perfect. I love it for the most part. There should be an option to stop the pip boy animation to conserve power. Other than that, there should be more complication options, there's certainly room for them on the watch face and you can't change the ones that exist aside from two small ones at the top. You should be able to change the battery power bar to something else. The fallout logo on the bottom takes up enough space for two complications itself, Or on the right, instead of settings.
