So here's my honest take on Fambase: Live & Group Chat. I've tested a bunch of group chat apps and this one's pretty solid. The customization options are great - you can really make each group your own. And the live video/audio features work well, makes it feel more personal than just text. But it's not without its issues. The free version has some annoying ads that get old fast. And the learning curve is a bit steeper than I'd like, took me a bit to figure out all the group management tools. Overall though, I'd say it's one of the better group chat apps out there, especially if you need to stay connected with multiple communities.

Description

Been using Fambase: Live & Group Chat for a couple months now. It’s basically a group messaging app where you can create and join all kinds of group chats – for your family, friends, sports team, book club, whatever. Pretty solid app if you’re into staying connected with your communities.

Here’s what you do: you can build your own group chats and customize all the settings, like who can join, who can post, and so on. There’s also live video and audio features, which is pretty cool. And you can assign different roles to group members – like admins, moderators, regular members. Took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.

Look, if you’re into group messaging and keeping all your communities in one place, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the ads can be annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.

Please fix or update this app to be more Android user friendly. When I first installed, video feed from lives would appear as just a black screen with everything else...
