Be very careful if you make a purchase. The Promo code slot is hard to find on the mobile app, and us located on the checkout page. If you accidentally click the purchase button (which looks the anne as the previous screens "Next" and Go To Checkout buttons) without entering the promo code, you can't get a refund of the ridiculous online-order "convenience" fee no matter how quickly to request one.

Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, and that's the real issue. It's honestly a 3 star app, but if it works great 9 times and doesn't work once, that is a strongly weighted failure. Many of the links in the app, particularly for refunds, don't work and the help system is just there to post links to other articles. Typically it's safer to buy tickets through the theater's website, since Fandango and each theater are such separate entities.

I haven't been able to see my purchases in the app for many months now... at least the emails successfully get sent so I can still use the tickets. Also, the $5 reward system is very difficult to use, and misleading - e.g. you can't search for a movie and redeem, you have to redeem, but only in a way that makes you think you're redeeming for a SPECIFIC movie - even though you use the code for any movie, e.g. on Vudu... If the interface were improved and purchases worked as expected, I'd say 4 stars.

Really disappointing. I used to use this app all the time. I Uninstalled it years ago and decided to give it another chance. Still doesn't work as it use to. I bought 3 tickets at separate times, but can only see 2 of them. It doesn't even show the seat being reserved when I went back to double check. I panicked and thought something happened with the purchase process. Call Fandango Cust Serv. They could see all 3 tickets on their end so they had to text me my third one. Disappointing

Ap was working great until a few days. Now I can't open the Accounts tab. I had a heck of a time pulling up my confirmation numbers last night for the movie i purchased tickets for a month ago. I've reinstalled the ap but that didn't do anything to fix the problem. You get charged a convenience fee but nothing about it was convenient last night!

The app and website both have a lot of pain points and are confusing. What's this $5 convenience fee? Convenient for who? And it's supposed to be waived if I sign up for their free trial, but it's not. And the $5 off after four movies, it's tricky. You have to use points to buy a coupon code and select the movie you will use it on. Is the movie you want to use it on not an option? You are out of luck... but not really. Lie and you can get the code and use it in a different movie. It's ridiculous

Having trouble logging in on website and app to use my $5 off rewards. It expires in two weeks. Already uninstalled and reinstalled app. I keep getting the message "Sorry, we're having trouble loading your VIP+ account info. Please double check your internet connection or check back with us soon — we're working on it!". My internet connection is fine. Seems like something's wrong at Fandango.

The app spams me with ads (which takes time) when I'm in a hurry to load a ticket and check into a movie. The app keeps logging me out and makes me re-login to buy or load a ticket, (STOP logging me out already.) I have AMC A-list, so ticketing is free and I earn VIP points from Fandango; otherwise, I would not have put up with the hassles, frustration and inconvenience with Fandango.

Doesn't allow customers to save their gift cards to their own amount. I'm assuming so there's a chance they'll just get lost and never be redeemed. Kinda scummy, but at least I know now, so I won't be purchasing anymore. Their $10 free gift card with a $50+ is also a scam. Even with the promo code entered and the extra $10 card showing at time of checkout, you still won't receive it.

I do enjoy the app and use for whenever we go to the movies. I find it strange that it can't keep gift card on the app for quick redeeming. If you do get a Fandango gift card know that you can't save it as a payment method for future purchase. I'm shocked that in this day and age of digital wallets this app will not save their own gift cards.
