I think there is a lot of helpful tools in this app. I don't think that it's worth $20 a year after the discount. It doesn't start fasts so the time's always get very confusing. Also, my husband has this on his phone and his keeps glitching out and not remembering what plan he had. Something a little weird about this app compared to others unfortunately.
Reviews for Fasting – Intermittent Fasting
It was excellent in the beginning. Now, fasting hours aren't calculated correctly, especially when doing the weekly customized fast. They keep telling me to edit fasting time in Settings, which I already did and hasn't been successful. There are many other fasting apps with superb correspondence; save your hard-earned money and look elsewhere. DON'T DOWNLOAD THIS APP! IF YOU GET PROBLEMS, NO REFUNDS!
I love this app. It's actually helped me lose weight, in 2 weeks I had already lost 8 lbs. And that's no diet or exercise involved. I'm going to incorporate exercises and in a few weeks, really try to cut sugar. But it's so good with notifications and you can adjust times etc. it's really great. I'm probably going to buy it because if the free one is totally worth it, I can only imagine the whole app.
I like it, but it is limited on the free version to which challenge I can do. I was signed up doing 8×14h challenge after trying to do select several others behind paywall. But ended it. 14h is to short for fasting and too long for not fasting. That isn't helpful. If anything; it's FRUSTRATING. I was only able to select a different challenge after ending the other one. One I wasn't able to select prior! I'M NOT GOING TO KEEP EDITING TO REPLY. Most of my reviews are good. I've not reduced stars.
It used to be such a good, easy to use app for tracking but now I can't even open it without full screen video ads freezing my phone and stopping my music. I don't mind having small ads in the app, I didn't even mind full screen ads at first cause they had no sound and could be skipped after 5 secs. But seriously, a whole loud video ad playing when I'm just trying to click "start fasting"? Definitely too much for me.
So many ads now and too often when you open the app there's a minute+ unskippable ad at startup. Will be uninstalling app and downloading a different one now. Edit - was messaged by their support team to describe in detail my problem. There's a minute+ unskippable ad at app startup if I haven't used it in a while. No click able close button sometimes so I have to sit through the entire ad. Other times yes there is a click able close button after varying lengths of time like 5, 10, 15 seconds.
In 2024 I was able to lose 30 lbs with the paid version of this app. I stayed away from soda and chips, but everything else was this app. I also no longer eat late at night, so my nighttime heartburn is gone as well. I highly recommend this app! The countdown clock with information about what your body is achieving during a fast is so encouraging. And as a bonus, when you achieve a goal it allows you to share it on social media, which is another big motivator! *Update* June 2025, down 50 lbs!
I'm not a fan of the food tracker update. I wish you could opt out of it, at the very least, why it is front and center when this is a fasting app, not a food app. it doesn't even work,it's power by AI and the AI things Apples are high in protein, low in fiber, and beer has anti inflammatory properties. 😉 If you want a good laugh have the AI scan the same food every day and see how inconsistent it is.
Best fasting App! i normally dont leave a lot of reviews unless i feel very excited about something or very upset to take time and leave a comment. so all i can cay is that this app is amazing because it helps you see hour by hour what is going on inside our body during the whole process, it helps me stay motivated and achieve new goals! reaching autophagy was amazing. Even if you dont see the reaults right away, you read how your body is actually receiving all the benefits of your hard work
It's okay. It does the bare basics fine, which is tracking your eating/fasting hours daily. Strangely, their focus and investment seems to be entirely on getting you to click on their very basic content as well as joining their "plans" which are lightly gamified challenges. What they have not invested in is tracking and showing your performance over time. For example, there is no way to see trends beyond the last week, or compare progress week to week or month to month.
