Reviews for Fasting - Intermittent Fasting

← Back to Fasting - Intermittent Fasting

I think there is a lot of helpful tools in this app. I don't think that it's worth $20 a year after the discount. It doesn't start fasts so the time's always get very confusing. Also, my husband has this on his phone and his keeps glitching out and not remembering what plan he had. Something a little weird about this app compared to others unfortunately.

It was excellent in the beginning. Now, fasting hours aren't calculated correctly, especially when doing the weekly customized fast. They keep telling me to edit fasting time in Settings, which I already did and hasn't been successful. There are many other fasting apps with superb correspondence; save your hard-earned money and look elsewhere. DON'T DOWNLOAD THIS APP! IF YOU GET PROBLEMS, NO REFUNDS!

I love this app. It's actually helped me lose weight, in 2 weeks I had already lost 8 lbs. And that's no diet or exercise involved. I'm going to incorporate exercises and in a few weeks, really try to cut sugar. But it's so good with notifications and you can adjust times etc. it's really great. I'm probably going to buy it because if the free one is totally worth it, I can only imagine the whole app.

I like it, but it is limited on the free version to which challenge I can do. I was signed up doing 8×14h challenge after trying to do select several others behind paywall. But ended it. 14h is to short for fasting and too long for not fasting. That isn't helpful. If anything; it's FRUSTRATING. I was only able to select a different challenge after ending the other one. One I wasn't able to select prior! I'M NOT GOING TO KEEP EDITING TO REPLY. Most of my reviews are good. I've not reduced stars.

It used to be such a good, easy to use app for tracking but now I can't even open it without full screen video ads freezing my phone and stopping my music. I don't mind having small ads in the app, I didn't even mind full screen ads at first cause they had no sound and could be skipped after 5 secs. But seriously, a whole loud video ad playing when I'm just trying to click "start fasting"? Definitely too much for me.

So many ads now and too often when you open the app there's a minute+ unskippable ad at startup. Will be uninstalling app and downloading a different one now. Edit - was messaged by their support team to describe in detail my problem. There's a minute+ unskippable ad at app startup if I haven't used it in a while. No click able close button sometimes so I have to sit through the entire ad. Other times yes there is a click able close button after varying lengths of time like 5, 10, 15 seconds.

In 2024 I was able to lose 30 lbs with the paid version of this app. I stayed away from soda and chips, but everything else was this app. I also no longer eat late at night, so my nighttime heartburn is gone as well. I highly recommend this app! The countdown clock with information about what your body is achieving during a fast is so encouraging. And as a bonus, when you achieve a goal it allows you to share it on social media, which is another big motivator! *Update* June 2025, down 50 lbs!

I'm not a fan of the food tracker update. I wish you could opt out of it, at the very least, why it is front and center when this is a fasting app, not a food app. it doesn't even work,it's power by AI and the AI things Apples are high in protein, low in fiber, and beer has anti inflammatory properties. 😉 If you want a good laugh have the AI scan the same food every day and see how inconsistent it is.

Best fasting App! i normally dont leave a lot of reviews unless i feel very excited about something or very upset to take time and leave a comment. so all i can cay is that this app is amazing because it helps you see hour by hour what is going on inside our body during the whole process, it helps me stay motivated and achieve new goals! reaching autophagy was amazing. Even if you dont see the reaults right away, you read how your body is actually receiving all the benefits of your hard work

It's okay. It does the bare basics fine, which is tracking your eating/fasting hours daily. Strangely, their focus and investment seems to be entirely on getting you to click on their very basic content as well as joining their "plans" which are lightly gamified challenges. What they have not invested in is tracking and showing your performance over time. For example, there is no way to see trends beyond the last week, or compare progress week to week or month to month.

Update: I'm not sure what's going on with the app, but it no longer lets me track my water intake and I joined a challenge last week and it hasn't been tracking my progress in that either. I guess those perks are part of the paid version? I know I canceled my membership, but I thought I had until July of 2025 for those benefits. All in all, its a good app. Would definitely recommend.

This app has been very helpful. Especially the food tracker...I love that you can scan your meal and it tracks the calories. I don't have the premium so I cant see the macros, but still the calories is good enough. its extremely accurate too. I love the little goals it sets for you and the awards that u get. its been a week and im down 5 pounds.

I used this app to great success several years ago and it did everything I needed it to do in a nice package. Came back after a couple of years off, figured I'd give them a few bucks for the ad free version, then found out that everything useful - even simple, simple things like setting my own daily schedule - are locked behind a subscription paywall. Absolutely ridiculous. There are far better options available.

Very Helpful. This app makes it simple to track your fasting and water consumption. It has reminders for when to start/ stop fasting and alerts to drink water. You can adjust your fasting start/ end time if you forget to hit the button. The trackers tell you what is happening in your body as you go. It also has weight and body measurement tracking. There are plenty of articles to help make the best decisions for your personal experience. I wish it had a food & activity tracker. (maybe paid?)

This app has been awesome. I have lost just over 50lbs in the last 12 weeks. I still have about 45lbs to go to hit my goal weight. I was using the food tracking AI camera for a while. It gives a good estimate, but that's all it is, an estimate. I bought a fancy macro scale for food off Amazon and I weighed my meals and input the nutrition labels and was surprised just how off the AI was 200+ kcal off on all meals. That being said the fasting tracker itself is very good at keeping me on schedule.

I liked this app until it started making me watch a ridiculously long ad at start-up that you can't skip. I don't want to watch the same 1-2 minute long Credit Karma ad every single time I want to track my fasting and eating periods. I refuse to pay for the premium side of it because I only use it for 1 feature, which is tracking my fasting times. I'll be searching for a replacement at this point because at the end of my fast I'm hangry and I don't have time for repetitive, extra long ads.

Intrusive data grab with no way around. constant ads for you to buy. I suggest this other app that is free and way better with a 5 * rating from 20,000+ people called "easy fast". This one might be decent but it also contradicts itself, if Im fasting to eat one or 2 meals, why does it still say "what time do you have breakfast, lunch and dinner?" and talks about food a bunch. just stop. ads are bad and timer is poorly designed for non trad fasts.

The free version is so limited it is essentially useless. I was looking for a replacement for Life fasting that shut down, but sadly this isn't it. The paid version appears less limited, but there is no trial available to test it, and even that seems to be restrictive. What if I want to do a 3 day fast or a 7? What about open-ended? I have no issues paying for a subscription, but I can do more and get more from an app like chronometer that allows for more options with fasting.

Premium user here, Simple, easy to set and track fasting time. with the info cards to help provide some easily digestible, pun, ways to stay on track. I will say the meal plans are not suggestible, probably downright unhealthy. but all in all this app greatly helped me in my weight loss journey utilizing fasting and adapting to the new eating habits.

This app has working very well for me. It is easier to use than the rest, gives what you need. It is helping keep track of not just my progress, but my fasting and eating times. Even without the subscription you get a lot of great advice and helpful hints without a ton of ads. Well, took a break for a minute, back at it and still a fantastic app. The food scan is really accurate and super helpful. Let's shoot for 40 lbs this time!
