Downloaded, set up account with my Google account, scanned the pages, and uploaded the rest, and sent 7 pages with in 5 minutes of downloading! Super simple and easy to follow directions! I haven't yet but plan to purchase the upgraded package so i can have a fax number. This app does exactly what it says it does. Great app. Highly recommended! Thank you.
Reviews for Fax.Plus – Send Fax from Phone
This is such a scam. There is an option to add credits on the free version to fax additional pages if using more than the 10 free pages. Every single attempt to fax failed. My fax conveniently went through with no issues after I subscribed to the service and wasn't using the free version, even though I had already paid to add credits for additional pages! I already paid for the pages, I shouldn't have to subscribe so you actually sent the fax!
When I was attempting to upgrade to the basic plan (8.99) it said "check internet connection" and seemed as if the payment didn't go through. Once I stopped trying, I saw I had a $45 credit on my account. It was charging my card that whole time. Then I get a notification that too many faxes are coming in at the same time so I can't receive the fax and i should upgrade to premium. I only gave the fax number to one person so it's a little unbelievable that 3 different faxes were coming in at once.
I downloaded app for a project I needed to do in November 2019. Worked well when I needed it for a 1x project. After I finished project, I cancelled and uninstalled the app on Google play store. I just noticed I was getting charged for 3 additional months that I had not authorized! Contacted CS, they instructed to unsubscribe through their official website, but it seems that they are NOT willing to complete a refund for the months I did not use service. VERY DISAPPOINTED! Changed from 3⭐ to 1⭐!
UPDATE: Apparently, for some reason, when I went through the order process from inside the app, something happened that did not register my change in plan, the support staff sent me a $5 coupon to make things right. Please, if you upgrade from inside the app, MAKE SURE YOU GET A CONFIRMATION NOTIFICATION FROM THE APP OF UPGRADE. If you don't, go to the website and be sure you have upgraded to the plan you want. I'm very satisfied with how quickly and efficiently this was handled, and I hope to see no more major issues. Only 4 stars for now until I see if I begin having issues through the month, but so far, better than eFax. (If I could put no stars I would, I paid the $5.99 for 100 free pages a month, sent 10 pages and only have 7 pages left...??)
Their pricing structure is kind of flawed. They charge by the page, which is fine... the problem is if something goes haywire it counts against your pages. I have had several one page faxes take 13-16 pages from my credits. Their "page" is roughly one minute of time. The app seems to have its problem of sending blank pages sorted out.. so that's a plus. When it works, it works great... when it acts up, it costs you dearly.
DON'T SIGN UP FOR ANY MONTHLY PLAN. They will overcharge you and won't refund you the money. I've been paying for the basic monthly plan at $5.99, for almost 4 months. This month when auto pay kicked in the payment wasn't available for ONE HOUR!! I entered my info again and afterwards my card was charged $59.99 instead of $5.99. I contacted Help/Support stating the problem, they replied back to me with my subscription has been cancelled. I requested a refund and they never responded back.
I came across Fax Plus in a rush to get some documents faxed. I didn't want to pay the ridiculous prices at UPS and Fed Ex: ave $1.80 per page local and up to $2.60 for out of state. I downloaded the app, and in a few minutes, I faxed 10 pages for free. If I need to fax more later they have a decent pricing schedule. Bottom line: great app, easy to use, and faxes don't cost a lot. Upload docs to your phone to send. You can upgrade to Pro if you have a lot of faxes coming in and going out. I only need it for occasional sending.
Awesome app, very user friendly! I've sent a few faxes so far, & they all went through just fine! They allow you the first 10 pages for free, and then just 20¢ per page after that. (Or you can subscribe to different tiers, which will allow for more pages.) The only thing is that you have to buy 'credits' if you're on the free subscription & need to send more than 10 pages, & the cheapest 'credits' purchase option is $5.99. But still, it's a lot cheaper than all of the other e-faxes out there!
This app charges for faxes that don't go through. I keep getting "failed communication error" messages and my fax doesn't successfully go through, but every time it tries to send, it uses a credit anyway, even though it's unsuccessful. Also, it only tries sending the fax 3 times then stops trying, so I have to start the process again. It should keep trying until there isn't a busy signal on the other end and the fax successfully goes through. Very disappointed.
